Yes, and we are talking about perceptions not making attacks. I live in the south part of the year every year, and I know how they are considered by the rest of American in general. I like the Texans, I spent six months in Texas and I liked every Texan I met, very friendly and also they assisted me when I would get confused with directions and other things.
I also met two people from Oklahoma this was in Dallas when there was some American Football game with I think Oklahoma University visiting Dallas, although I can't remember if that game was The Texas Longhorns or the other one I can't remember
