The Statue of Liberty is not about immigration. It is about LIBERTY! The United States government makes rules and laws about immigration. Because Progressive Socialist Communists took over the Democratic Party the Statue has been used as propaganda. And we are losing our freedoms.

Emma Lazarus, the daughter of a wealthy Jewish sugar, baron wrote that poem while also crusading for a new Jewish Homeland in the British province held in the Middle East known as Palestine. Her poem did not become popular in the USA until after 1900 and was included on a marker attached to the base of the Statue of Liberty in 1903 when legal migration through Ellis Island started to accelerate.

Today’s legal migration is at an all time high. Much higher than in 1903 even without the illegal immigrants.
