As the IMF gets set to give several $Billions to Greece and possibly other European Nations,it does bring up a very important question for Americans. Since a big percentage of IMF money is American Tax Payer money, this means that Americans will now be paying to bail Europe out as well. This doesn't even include what the Federal Reserve is possibly giving Europe. We don't know how much our Federal Reserve is giving Europe because of their tight secrecy. So after bailing out countless Corporations here in the U.S.,should we be bailing Europe out too?

No, bailouts just put off the inevitable. They are attempts to maintain the status quo and will only make things worse.

It's actually the Chinese bailing out Greece. The U.S. is just a conduit for the money at this point.

Short answer: No. Greece's problems are structural and caused by years of mismanagement including over-regulation, high labor involvement in politics, reckless spending on domestic programs to prop up political parties---
Wait, I was talking about Greece, right?

Um......no.

No, and we should get out of the IMF immediately.

Bingo Kevin! I have been saying that for years. We need to remove ourselves from the IMF & WTO. They do not always have America's best interests at heart. We should not be part of such organizations. Thanks.

Sure! Why not? Maybe Switzerland will send us a complementary box of chocolates in return...

us Americans love us some chocolate... and paying for things we can't afford.

The most disturbing aspect of this stuff is that we the people don't have a say in it at all. The IMF and Federal Reserve are going to pump $Billions into Greece and possibly other European nations whether we the people like it or not. That should bother all Americans.

U.S. Taxpayers bailout Europe? You mean bail out the same EU that is trying like hell to bury the U.S. Dollar and bring us to our knees?

Felix Unger to all of you E.U., besides, Mr. Obama has already taken out dibs on all our future earnings for the US taxpayer for decades to come, see someone else, we're broke.

Wow well said. The EU has been anything but kind to the U.S. in recent years regarding economic issues. The only thing you can do is contact your Congress person and plea with them to stop the IMF and Federal Reserve from giving away $Billions more in American Tax Dollars. It's the only recourse we the people have left.
