    They are doing it now.

Trump Outlines a Significant Social Security Cut in His 2020 Budget | The Motley Fool

n particular, political opponents of the president focused on a handful of proposed cuts to social programs, which go against Trump's campaign promises in 2016 not to touch so-called entitlement programs like Medicare and Social Security.

Contained within the president's budget were calls for about $1.5 trillion in cuts to Medicaid over the next 10 years, which would be achieved by moving payouts to block grants; an $845 billion reduction to Medicare spending over the next decade that targets a decrease in wasteful spending via lower prescription drug costs; and -- surprise -- a roughly $26 billion decrease in Social Security spending over the next 10 years
    .

Now, we don't talk enough about THIS kind of stuff, because Trump is too busy talking about buying Greenland and nuking hurricanes and the other crazy shit to distract us.

Tax cuts stimulate the economy period. End of story. It is a fact, not matter how much you commies want to claim they don't.

Both parties need to reign in spending, that is for sure, but it doesn't have anything to do with the tax cuts. Lemmings have bought into the idea that tax revenue goes down when taxes are cut. They don't and they didn't this time. Tax revenues have increased because the economy picked up, salaries have increasd and people are buying more stuff. This is the way it is supposed to work, not articially created a short term tax boon by raising taxes so the goverment can wastere 3/4 of it and distribute the remaiing quarter to partisan programs that at least 1/2 the country doesn't agree with.

    Democrats don't fix anything.

LIke I have told you before, I live in "Jesus-land", aka. a state with morals, and I can assure you that most of us that vote Republican are the farthest thing from "trailer-trash" that you can imagine. In fact, Democrats living in blue states are much more likely to have a significantly lower standard of living than us 'dumb ass" Republicans living in red states. What you seem to fail to understand about the democgraphics of Southern red states, is that we have a large percentage of minorities, many of which are living in poor areas. They vote overwhemingly for Democrats. Add some white, blue dog Democrats into that number along with a large number of poor whites and there is your Democratic base in these states. The vast majority of the educated, middle to upper class people in my state are solidly Republican. In other words, the vast majority of the people you are calling "dumb-asses" are the professionals and business owners from red states, or at least mine.

Unless something else comes out, they won't impeach him because the Democatic house members with more than 1/2 brain, which granted is not many, know the evidence is not there and they would be comitting political suicide, particularly those that live in states that are not solidly blue. Schiff is from CA. Nothing he could do short of saying we need to secure our border and changing parties would stop those morons from voting for him.
