I refuse to believe that I live in a country that has enough ignorant people to vote for a Socialist for President. If we elect one of those idiots, we will all suffer collectively in the long run. In fact, Democrats living in blue states are much more likely to have a significantly lower standard of living than us 'dumb ass" Republicans living in red states. What you seem to fail to understand about the democgraphics of Southern red states, is that we have a large percentage of minorities, many of which are living in poor areas. They vote overwhemingly for Democrats. Add some white, blue dog Democrats into that number along with a large number of poor whites and there is your Democratic base in these states. The vast majority of the educated, middle to upper class people in my state are solidly Republican. In other words, the vast majority of the people you are calling "dumb-asses" are the professionals and business owners from red states, or at least mine.

What stimulates the economy is government spending.

The 1980's recession ended because Ronnie Reagan threw a bunch of money into infrastructure spending and military spending, not because he gave tax breaks to Billionaires.
