Should There Be An "Opt-Out" Clause With The New ACA To Make Right Winger's Happy?

What happens if I show up at the emergency room without ID and without consciousness? The hospital won't be able to determine if I'm a moronic opt-out right winger or a normal responsible person.

Says the party of the parasite class who lives off of the conservatives...

I pay my own bills. Sorry to not conform to your narrow ideological stereotype that you got from FOX News or ROOOSH

And I have my own insurance, stupid. Sorry not to conform to your narrow ideological stereotype that you got from MSNBC radical Socialists

Few things are funnier than the irony that the idiot liberal is incapable of seeing. They create the problem with a government mandate. When that fails, they create a new government mandate to help hold up the original failing mandate. When that fails, the create another one and so on.... (lather, rinse, repeat).

As always, that is the case with healthcare here. They are actually calling conservatives "irresponsible" in a made up scenario where we are allowed to opt out of Obamacare, despite the fact that we are the one who are insured (remember, the asshole liberals here screaming how it's so easy for us to fight this bill because we have the luxury of being insured ). They try so desperately to demonize the right, they forget what they previously said and they contradict themselves (that's the problem with a web of lies).

But here's the thing - the idiot liberals created this mess when they mandated that a person must be treated at a hospital, regardless of their ability to pay. Well, since hospitals had that cost, it was either collapse under the weight of it, or pass it on to the paying consumers. Of course, since each of us is paying for 2 or 3 people who are not insured but are "entitled" to the care anyway, healthcare costs have skyrocketed. So what do the liberals do? They bitch about the cost and create Obamacare to artificially prop up the failure of their first decision. :cuckoo:

God almighty, these people are a cancer that do nothing but create failure after failure after failure, all while trying to justify it with lies that just come back and bite them in the ass

You do realize the individual mandate is a republican plan that the GOP has been pushing for, for years. Willard passed it himself in MA. to great success.

There is also the matter of freedom and liberty. This is a principle which sails miles over the head of people who want the state to control us.

If someone is voluntarily uninsured, it is a violation of personal liberty to force them to buy a commercial product.

If someone is voluntarily uninsured, and they get sick, they should pay the consquences of their foolishness.

I also believe that if you drop out of high school, you should NEVER receive any government benefits like welfare, food stamps, or free healthcare.

One third of those who are uninsured dropped out of high school. But do we hold them accountable? No. The Democrats decided someone else should pay a penalty instead!

It does not get more fucked up than that.

Damn right G5000! But remember, this is all about control and wealth redistribution. If you must be a part of Obamacare, then they get to take more money from you and hand it over to the parasite class. Which is why we are all forced against our will into Social Security.

The Democrats are nothing but Nazi's/Communists/etc. They want to force Socialism on everyone. They hate freedom and free choices.

That's the whole premise of the topic. Why have you been complaining when you now state you agree with it?

I detest Romney for his mandate as much as I detest Obama for his.

Your premise is that the mandate is there because the voluntarily uninsured are freeloaders. That is completely false.

Health care costs are still rising in MA. They actually rose at a faster rate than the rest of the US.

That's your idea of "great success"?

What should they be called? The defenders of freedom by making others pay for them?

Uhh, good for you, so do I, what's your fucking point, moron?

Ever since the affordable care act was passed, the right wingers have been going into a complete rampage over having to actually grow up and get health insurance, instead of just freeloading off the rest of the hard working americans.

Now to shut them up and for them to keep their "freedom", should there be an opt-out clause? By signing an opt out wavier, this would mean an up front payment for all medical services. If they require expensive treatment, this will all be need to be paid up front (cash, no credit or loans would be applicable) and the same with a 911 call or emergency.

They would have to "carry their papers" such as a bank statement with a debit card or credit card (no checks) to cover the likely $600 ambulance ride, plus $1,000 to walk in the door of an ER. From there the care would be only administered by how much funds they have available. Run out, then you get a wheel chair ride to the curb, no matter how sick. Sound fair?

GUARANTEED...all of the young libs who cried for Obamacare would opt-out in a heartbeat to keep from paying $500 a month for insurance.

I pay far less than that, Ricky. Now go smoke your dope and play your arcade games, and give Ray $60 for the VLT's.

Its Mitt Romney's idea, isn't it?

I'm curious, are you a Democrat? Or are you supporting Democrats?

Because I always wonder what Democrats must be thinking when they point out that they passed a law based on a really shitty state law passed by a limp-dick Republican. Are they proud of that???

Its not the law we preferred. Maybe you missed the whole health care debate. The public option was ObamaCare. The Congress refused to pass it. So they compromised and went with RomneyCare.

That's the difference between R's and D's. When R's can't get 100% of what they want - they whine like babies and refuse to do ANYTHING. When D's can't get 100%, they offer compromise. If modern day Republicans had been at the Constitutional convention we'd still be under the Articles of Confederation.

It sure looks that way, amazingly enough... :dunno:

It is simply not true that you can't get medical care unless you have insurance. I have never had insurance. I never went without necessary medical care either. I just paid for it. When I had to go into the hospital, for one thing, if you have no insurance the bill is automatically discounted 75%, then I made payments on the small balance.

Lucky you.

most ordinary people couldn't afford to pay for a fucking appendectomy out of pocket.

And the fact your hospital is able to cut you 75% off for NOT having insurance should tell you something about the insurance companies.

Compromised with who? The insurance industry? Or do you just mean the compromised their integrity? That much seems obvious.

Why don't you just answer for me?
