Massive funding deficits, leadership in disarray, telling people "There's no shortfall"

"In a story on planners’ decision not to hold a kick-off event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hans Nichols wrote:
The move comes as party planners are grappling with a fundraising deficit of roughly $27 million, according to two people familiar with the matter who requested anonymity to discuss internal party politics. With a party ban on direct contributions from corporations, the host committee has raised less than $10 million, well short of its $36.6 million goal, said one of the people.
Democrats denied that there was any fundraising problem, or that money had anything to do with the decision to move the free kick-off event from the Speedway to Uptown."

Democrats: No trouble raising money for convention - The Washington Post

RUSH: This Democrat stuff. "Democrats are considering canceling their political convention's kick-off event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, as party planners grapple with a roughly $27 million fundraising deficit..." Their convention fund is in the red $27 million. Their convention fund is running a deficit of $27 million. They're bankrupt! They're broke! When I first read the story, that fact was not in it, the $27 million in debt. All it said was they were going to cancel the thing at the Speedway and move it somewhere else."

Oops, there really is a shortfall! Let's ask the head of the DNC about it!

Uh oh...she's on her way out?!?

The National Journal has also picked up on the fact that she is indeed getting the boot from Obama-

When Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida was tapped last year to lead the Democratic National Committee, it seemed like the latest ascension for a fast-rising star destined for even higher positions. Some stumbles and an apparent falling out of favor with the White House had changed that calculus. Now it looks like it could be changing again. -National Journal
