So. Should Obama be impeached?

Wait, don't answer so fast now. If you vote "yes", then you must lay out a case for actual high crimes and misdemeanors. No innuendo. No "'cause I really disagree with his policies". No OMZG teh SOCIALIST!!1!!1eleventy!1!.

You must lay out a real case as to how he, himself has broken the law and violated the constitution with verifiable facts. (BTW: signing laws that you disagree with doesn't meet the standard).

You must lay out a real case that has a passing shot at meeting the standard of a civil court decision (thats the closest standard that I can come up with that would mirror what people would consider reasonable).

In other words, no herp-a-derp.

this is stupid politics

impeachment is serious...if clinton can't get impeached for perjury...what exactly has obama done?

I mean with what information you have at this moment, of course.

If you have no information that leads you to believe he could be impeached, then you must vote "no".

impeachment is a waste of time. there will always be too much partisanship to throw the president out or even censure him/er

well, before there can even be impeachment proceeding there must be some evidence of a crime
so because i have seen none the proceeding to vote could not happen

I agree, but for the purposes of this poll, assume that the House is completely impartial. None of them have D's or R's. They are all I's.

Basically, ignore whether or not it will actually happen. Is there enough proof and evidence for it to happen? If so, proof and evidence of what?

then i think the better question would have been "should the Impeachment procedure be started against Obama?"

Clinton was impeached.

no he was not. he was CHARGED in the house and acquitted in the senate

thus, not formally impeached
yes, he was impeached
he wasnt removed by the senate

Impeachment is totally a function of the House
the Senate then decides if it warrants removal from office once the House decides to Impeach

Yes, he was formally impeached.

The house acts like the grand jury, and issues the impeachment.

The senate acts like the trial, and can be guilty, or acquitted.

The two are separate actions.

He is a freaking jackass and the worst President in our lifetimes, probably ever.

But, since there is no viable evidence that he has committed any high crimes or misdemeanors, then the "vote" has to be "no."

Alas.
