The fact that you refuse to comprehend it is not anyone's fault than your own.
But the original post was well written and clear (true or not irrelevant)...and further explanations as to WHY it was written were quite clear.

However, I must say this...and in my opinion.....the fact that you imply that you dont understand the point of the thread most definitely tells me that you DO understand it but dont know how to respond to it becuase you see the validity in what was said.

But now we have our Corporations Supporting Communist and Socialist regimes throughout the globe for the benefit of slave labor. I disagree. He relies very heavily on his Teleprompter and his speech yesterday made no sense. He railed against Private Jets yet his own Stimulus included Tax breaks for Private Jet owners. His whole speech made no sense and was a bit bizarre. The MSM should have attacked him the way they do Palin & Bachmann. His speech was much dumber than anything i've heard them say. He really isn't nearly as smart as the MSM has led most to believe.

No. He is not stupid.

Actually, I have yet to find any elected official at the federal level that I would deem as stupid.

However...

Yesterday was another example to me of how Obama sees the general electorate as stupid. He believes he can say the sky is green and its the republicans that are making you think it is blue...and the genewral electorate will not only believe it, but his most devoted supporters will argue how he is right.

I don't understand the point of the thread because the apparent point of the thread is so idiotic that I don't understand why anyone would try to make it with a straight face.

The argument of the thread is that because 5 or 6 liberals said something about John Ashcroft that the OP doesn't like, or doesn't think was accurate,

therefore,

all liberals on the planet can be automatically categorized as incapable of making credible, intelligent, valid observations.

If you agree with that, if you agree that line of reasoning is valid, then do you also agree that all I'd have to do is show you 5 or 6 conservative opinions that I don't think are accurate,

I agree with US citizen, I think Obama is smart, I think Bush is smart too. I can disagree with a smart person's politics just as much as those from a dumb person like Bachmann. Obama is a corporatist and a warmonger, to hell with him.

You can label me, that's fine, just the overwhelming majority of times that people have tried to in the past they've been way off.
