I thought this thread was about Gabrielle Giffords. The decision for her to continue with her job is one her doctor should make. If she cannot represent her constiuents, she should step down. There would be no question she would win re-election when she is ready to continue. In the meantime, her district would get the attention they deserve. She should want that for her district as well.
