Freedom like most concepts is an abstraction useful only in context. Personally the OP was the largest amount of whining about nothing I have tried to read in a long time. Isn't it curious how doing good things for all Americans means a loss of freedom for some? The mental math that does that was missing from my genome - thankfully.
