NAZARETH, (PIC)-- 29 US Democrat senators told president Barack Obama he should cut aid to the Palestinian Authority in the event Hamas joined its government following the Fatah-Hamas reconciliation agreement.
The Democratic party senators sent a message to Obama carrying this meaning on Friday, Israeli press reports said on Sunday.

The majority of that money is to keep ex president Abbas in power and to protect Israel. If Abbas falls all those weapons supplied by the us will fall into the hands of the elected government. About $30 million in US weapons was left to Hamas when Abbas was run out of Gaza.
