Do you really want to go with that, the CDC is the organization that said Kellerman was right, and you guys cut most of their funding to study guns.

Except he did no such thing. He just specified that HOMICIDES were 2.7 of them compared to 39 suicides to get to his number.

Suicides are still a bad thing.

Yup, it's not the scary crook you have to worry about, it's the person you live with.

Rather than confer protection, guns kept in the home are associated with an increase in the risk of homicide by a family member or intimate acquaintance.

So in conclusion, Kellerman never, ever said his initial study, the one that got the National Rampage Association SOOOOOO upset they marched right down to Congress and told them never, ever to study this ever again, was wrong.

Because you never know when you'd have to deal with a crook with a gun, a knife, or who just spent six years in prison at the weight machine....

But there's the rub. In the UK, the Bobbies have guns... but they almost never use them. They shoot less than 2 people a year on average.

In the US, Cops shoot 900 people a year, including kids playing with toys, kids with baseball bats, or kids who just looked at them funny and happened to be black.
