Shocking Video! Contraceptives Obtained Without Federal Mandate!

let me know when the rightwingnuts start demanding insurance companies stop covering viagra.

you don't really understand this issue very well, do you?

This is about INSURANCE companies paying for prescription medication and not allowing some religious zealot to take away that ability by deciding they don't like women using contraception.

Following now?

And just to emphasize, even if it was about your precious tax dollars, big deal. My tax dollars helped pay for two unnnecessary wars of choice for the neo-cons.

Get over it.

That's okay, jillian. My tax dollars are paying for endless wars, entitlements, social programs, legalized ponzi schemes ie SS, and whatever other waste the next R or D can come up with.

Social Security isn't a ponzi scheme, hon.

But you know, I'm sick to death of rightwingnuts (not addressing you, you're fairly consistent in all of these things and i disagree with you, but you haven't shown signs of insanity, nor do i see you lie).

I also don't see infrastructure and maintaining a safety net for people or education or agency oversight or government as wastes of money. i understand that you do. But I think when discussing an issue of people wanting to be allowed to use their religious beliefs to force insurance companies not to cover things they disapprove of is insane. The rightwingnuts' refusal to understand that contraception is prescription medication, along with their having zero objection to coverage of viagra because it's men who use it, makes them hypocrites.

On SS, we'll never agree. However, I do agree with you on viagra. And, of course I'm not against helping someone. I prefer it coming from other individuals but I'm not against some help from the government. It's the staggering amounts that I object to.

Please explain to me where it is appropriate to comapre an insurance company's CHOICE to offer viagara to a government MANDATE that they MUST offer birth control.

Let me ask you this...

why does a woman have the right to choose (which I support)...

But a business owner (who is a person) must sell what the government mandates it sell?

Did you fail to listen to Mr. Obama when he announced his "compromise"?

His compromise? You mean, the one that came up because people were complaining about the first proposal?

Question: How in the world do you feel qualified to debate about something that you refuse to acknowledge the facts about?

I'm just going to comment on your first sentence as it caught my eyes and I didn't read the rest.

Viagra should not be covered imo. It's an elective item for an elective procedure.

However if a company chooses to provide it, that is THEIR choice. Not a mandated decision.

Yep.. that's the We the People" I'm talking about. We know you and your kind don't pay shit for anything. Get it now?

I pay plenty for my everything. Including my own health care. Meanwhile, my tax dollars are paying for yours. Now go away, you hypocrite.

I understand it perfectly Jillian. Ms. Fluke, the Abortion rights activist, made testimony to Congress. She claimed that contraception is unavailable and unaffordable. Turns out she is a liar. That is the point. Planned Parenthood is 1.5 miles from the Georgetown Campus- free condoms, free pills, free exams.
Thanks for exploding another leftist myth to bilk taxpayers for the tab, Zander.

Don't forget Willow's health care.

no offense...

But see what she did?

She made the issue about viagara......

But the issue isnt Viagara...nor is it Birth Control.

The issue is government MANDATING that insurance companies offer birth control...whether they want to or not.

Since when is that OK?

It is one thing for the government to say you CANT sell something becuase it is dangerous, or unhealthy, or whatever...

But for government to say YOU MUST sell something?

But the left doesnt want to touch that issue...so they made it about birth control, the religiuous right...and viagara..

And you fell into it.

The issue has to do with a government mandate that will say that a company MUST offer a service...something that has never been mandated before.

Gee, when you put it that way, it sounds pretty bad. That would be like the government mandating how much wheat you can grow, how much you can sell it for, and how much of it you can eat for yourself and your family. That would be unconstitutional, right?

Child...that was not a compromise......only the most naive saw it as a compromise....even those on the left saw it as a non compromise.

You dont comrpomise by getting 100% of what you want with a mandate.

You really are naive.

This is the real issue; This is what YOUR government wants to do to your body under the guise of women's rights;

" the serious health risks that accompany birth control pills. These include: ,

Increased risk of cervical and breast cancers
Increased risk of heart attack and stroke
Migraines
Higher blood pressure
Gall bladder disease
Infertility
Benign liver tumors
Decreased bone density
Yeast overgrowth and infection
Increased risk of blood clotting
Cancer, heart disease, stroke, infertility. Surely these side effects make birth control pills a less than desirable option for contraception. And now that heart disease has become the leading cause of death among women, one has to wonder if there is a connection between the widespread and long-term use of oral contraceptives, which debuted in 1960... just as the first of the baby boomers were entering their teens."

you are way too naive to comprehend the difference.

Question....if you owned a stationary store...and you found that whereas selling lottery tickets was profitable, but it corwded your store where your every day patrons hads to wait in line to get their everydsay things...and thewy started to go elsewhere becuase they didnt want to wait in line outside just to buy a newspaper.....

Would you be OK with it if your state government told you that you HAD to sell those lottery tickets...even if it meant you would lose your base customers?

In other words, you're going to completely ignore the actual facts of the situation and just say whatever makes your pre-ordained conclusion sound good. :eusa_hand:

Nope.

I stated the facts as they are.

Seems you are the one ignoring the facts.

Catholic church felt it not right to offer BC to their employees.

Obama said no problem...you dont have to.

I will have the insurance companies not make it part of the policy. Instead I will FORCE them to give it to all policy holders...even though it is not part of the policy.

Please tell me what is not factual there, child.

You're confused. People who believe in freedom don't demand that insurance companies cover anything. Imposing rules on insurance companies about what they can cover is purely a leftwing idea.

We have always understood it. You and your ilk are the ones who deliberately fail to understand it. Insurance companies can pay for whatever they like. You want to force people to pay for certain coverages that they don't want to pay for. The only force involved here is by the Obama Administration. No one else is talking about using force.

And just to emphasize, even if it was about your precious tax dollars, big deal. My tax dollars helped pay for two unnnecessary wars of choice for the neo-cons.

Oh, I agree that govt can't enumerate what a private company should sell. I just think there are certain drugs that should come from private pay. That's all.

except you lying hypocrites don't believe in freedom... you just repeat nonsense over and over and over again.

no one who is opposed to reproductive choice is pro freedom.

stop referencing the "bill of rights" and the "constitution". you have no understanding of either. (or both, as it were).
