No one seems to want to comment that Sarah Palin is approximately as well-liked, in the polls, as is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. The one of them does have a full-time job. . . .and is older. . . .and apparently wiser. Apparently the older woman: Still has a memory capability, intact. There may have been votes actually done, in the House of Representatives: For a change.
Gallup has been noting that the "Honeymoon" trend in favor of the Democrats has been steadily eroding. It went so far into the deep that the Republicans had a one month edge in Party Identiification. September has changed all that.
Democrats Re-Establish Narrow Edge in Party Affiliation
Clearly, the stock market is responding well to the economy. 28 states have noted a decrease in the unemployment rate. Health Care reform measures are starting to take effect. The basis-free slaughter of the ill-equipped troops in Iraq, clearly GOP, intended--in their FEMA-like model of emergency administration--has started to end. The Oil Well leak is getting more permanently stopped. The Southeast region may experience a funding renaissance in post-spill relief. The Obama Administration broke the back of the GOP Senate resistance to small-business lending.
The outcome is Party Identification, Democrat again: Coming along in time for the elections.
"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, not stirred!"
(Actually, George Bush does get blamed for current state of the U. S. economy!)
