She's Not Your Average Moron

Willow continues to demonstrate who the real Moron is...........

The Healthcare Program frees people to pursue jobs that they might not be able to take because of family or personal health issues. The idea that Americans have to keep a job for the sole reason that they do not want to risk losing their health coverage stifiles the economy.

Music? yea why not

But it also frees people to start small businesses, take more risk, work for smaller companies

Health care reform has freed us from our golden chains. We won't have to stay in a job just because it provides health care. We'll be free to pursue jobs which are better-suited to our talents and where we can be more productive. Everyone will benefit.

Elimination of pre-existing conditions clauses also frees people to seek employment in other areas without the fear of losing their health coverage.

The moron is you. What if we all want to be free to create.. who's gonna pay the bill? NancyNurse? I don' think so. She sets the gold standard for MORON.

Where in the healthcare bill does it say FREE for ALL?

You still have to pay for your premiums. What you can now do is buy health insurance on the open market as part of a collective. You no longer have to belong to a big company to get group discounts. This allows individuals wanting to go into business for themselves a chance to buy insurance at competitive rates.

Looks like Nancy is smarter than Willow

Anyone who cannot afford to pay for their premiums will be able to apply for government subsidies, or get Medicaid. I would ask if you read the law, but since the refusal to actually read a law seems to be a requirement of being a liberal I will just point out that everyone who has said anything about this law touts this fact.

The thing is, it's not just art. Everyone needs health care including the inventor with a great idea and a sick child. What should he do? Quit his job and let his child suffer without health care while he develops his idea or stay in his job for the health care and let the idea go?

It really does amaze me that people don't get this. Where would we be if Thomas Edison had to pay for his own health care instead of working on all those inventions. Or if Tom Clancy had to support his wife and family by running his own insurance agency before writing The Hunt for Red October. I wonder if we would have had the Oreck vacuum cleaner if Bill Oreck had to worry about getting health care before he quit RCA.

Wait a minute. That all happened before free health care, how did they do it? Could have been hard work, being willing to take a risk, and accepting personal responsibility?

Wow! That was really stupid.

A few exceptions don't prove anything.

They prove that the assertion that the only way anyone can survive is if the government takes care of them is false.

OK, but why involve me?

I never said it.

You did say that exceptions prove nothing. I person I replied to implied that the only way for someone to invent something is with government supported health care. I pointed out people who proved that implication wrong.

What is scary is that nothing that spews out of her trap amazes me anymore. She has proven her ignorance and stupidity time and time again. Congratulations Miss Moron Speaker. :clap2:

You pointed out people from a different era.....

You know...the time when you could pay for medical care with a few chickens
Fact is that in this century, you cannot afford to pay for catastrophic medical care without health insurance. Which means you are tied to your present employer

So, it pizzes you off that Pelosi tells the artistic community that if they choose to quit their day job and launch out on their own they will have healthcare. Interesting. Would you rather that we have fewer entrepreneurials because they are afraid to lose the healthcare tied to their 'day job'? Granted, it wasn't the smoothest delivery of a thought that I've ever heard, but it's not something to be pizzed off about.

I think the fear is that no one will have incentive to work their day job because the Gubment's gonna take care of them.

I'm thinking of starting a business selling watercolor finger paintings of Octoerotic Art. I hope you work hard enough so the government can tax you to pay for my welfare/medical needs.

Tell me, who would pay for their healthcare?

I thought the idea was for you to do it.

Didn't you get the memo?

You're gonna have to show me where it states in the healthcare bill that healthcare is free for musicians and artist. Or free to anyone for that matter.

Man, when was the last time you cut yourself fingerpainting and went to the emergency room? You don't need to PAY to get stitched up.

I took my kid down to Children's Hospital in Houston on a Friday Night because he was delerious with fever...pneumonia.....place was CRAWLIN' with Messkins; hackin' and coughin' all over each other.

I have too much pride and dignity to not pay for services rendered.

Well, I take pride in fingerpaintin' porno's of Octopii gettin' it on with Asian Women over the age of 18. Unhappily the buying public hasn't caught up with my artistic brilliance yet, so until they do I'll need you to pay more taxes to support my healthcare, m'k?

Sure ya do. When you get that $500,000 bill for a catastrophic injury and your insurance drops you for failing to report a skinned knee in 3rd grade (It was in line 9,147 of your contract), you can A. Work the rest of your life to pay it or B. Feed your family and live your life. Would you stand by your convictions then?

Nancy Pelosi tells musicians they can quit their jobs because they will have healthcare

We see it as an entrepreneurial bill,” Pelosi said, “a bill that says to someone, if you want to be creative and be a musician or whatever, you can leave your work, focus on your talent, your skill, your passion, your aspirations because you will have health care

Nancy Pelosi tells musicians they can quit their jobs because they will have healthcare America's Watchtower

Yeah you won't have a JOB because NO ONE will have the money to pay for a ticket to see your act...but BY GOD! You'll have healthcare.

The woman is a DOLT. I'll be glad when that Gavel is pryed from her feeble hands after November .
