ISTANBUL, (PIC)-- The head of the Islamic movement in the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948, Sheikh Raed Salah, affirmed that the demise of the occupation is imminent, and that international declining support for the Zionist expansionist project are obvious.

Assailants protesting the expected court-ordered evacuation of five buildings in the settlement of Beit El vandalized cars and sprayed slurs on car windows on Friday in the town of Neve Shalom, where Jews and Arabs cohabitate peacefully.

The High Court of Justice ruled in April that the five disputed buildings in the Ulpana neighborhood of Beit El had been built on privately owned Palestinian land and must therefore be demolished. So far, legislative efforts to avert the demolition have failed.

The cooperative town of Neve Shalom, situated halfway between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, was jointly established by Jewish and Arab citizens of Israel in efforts to demonstrate peaceful coexistence.
