She must go.

Yeah, right after Roberts, Scalia, Thomas and Alito.

Oh wait, I forgot, you rw's just love The (not)Patriot Act and want to take a hatchet to several other amendments.

A simple fact of life is that once some disaster like The (not)Patriot Act is in place, its almost impossible to get rid of it.

I never said I liked the patriot act. Point is she doesn't support the US constitution she needs to quit the scotus. But nice deflection socialist.

From the OP:

She was being interviewed by Al Hayat in Egypt, which is trying to develop a government after citizens deposed longtime dictator President Hosni Mubarack last year.

Egypt is facing major obstacles to a democratic form of government as the Muslim Brotherhood as a political party has been assembling a majority in the country. Among its goals is a Muslim caliphate worldwide.

She was asked: “Would your honor’s advice be to get a part of other countries’ constitutions as a model, or should we develop our own draft?

Her response:

“You should certainly be aided by all the constitution-writing that has gone on since the end of World War II. I would not look to the U.S. constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012. I might look at the constitution of South Africa. That was a deliberate attempt to have a fundamental instrument of government that embraced basic human rights, had an independent judiciary. It really is, I think, a great piece of work that was done.

She is just trying to make herself look smart and well read. She failed. Not exactly breaking news.

I'd ask for a link where you condemned Obama's expansion of the PA, but I know better.

You hush. She's a wise Latina woman.

She said so.

She said so.

That was Sotomayor, not Ginsburg.

Regardless, they're both liberal trash.

Is she in Egypt now? Maybe they will fist her for an hour, try to dismember her, try to scalp her, and then put her on trial for something. And then, maybe she would come to realize the value of the document that she took an oath to protect and defend. The minute she sets foot back on American soil, she needs to be off the SCOTUS, AND disbarred! Maybe they will let her be on the not so supreme court in South Africa!

Justice Ginsburg, Senator Schumer, Representative Weiner....
...must be something in the water here in Brooklyn..

You're late to the outrage, there are at least two threads on this.
At least three, four counting this one - all equally idiotic.

If I understand your post....off-handed though it is, you might wish to brush up
on the United States Constitution...article six specifically.

Here, let me help:
"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby,..."

Perhaps you'd like to rethink your post with this in mind.

You have the two extreme leftist women Judges mixed up.

This thread is about her counterpart; the wise Jewish woman; Justice Ginsberg. :doubt:
My bad. I saw "incompetent liberal female justice" and went with the Latina.
