Shades of Tahoe Blue: The Tahoe Taxi wars

Makes you want to visit tahoe though

:lol: Tahoe is about 1,000 feet down and a couple of miles from my front door! I visit it nearly every day!

Do you know this writer?

Apperently she has been on the mountain for decades.

It is a small town

I assume you were in Tahoe City? If that answer is yes, then I know her. I've lived here for over 25 years so i know most everyone in the area who's been here for any length of time. I may even be in her book!

Thanks Cali ,

However you feel about me it has nothing to do with this lady.

Hell for all I know she is a republican.

We did not talk poltics we talked tahoe.

She was a really awesome person.

I would love it if she made some bucks and became a mascott for the town.

She loves the place with all her heart and it really comes acrossed in the book.

Good luck Mrs. Lillian Rose Stewart

Lake Tahoe was one of our favorite places to ride. South Lake Tahoe with all it's casinos and bars, and north Lake Tahoe with all it's trendy ski resorts. West Lake Tahoe with the grand daddy of all off road challenges, the Rubicon. Yeah Lake Tahoe is cool.

A pic I took of Lake Tahoe standing on the back walk way of a road side rest room...

My friends and I did the old Rubicon (much, much, much harder then the current Trail) backwards one year. It is much harder going backwards because of the elevation changes.

The Rubicon is a goal I have set as an offroader. Cant wait to take that challenge.

I can see how a person can get inspired to write living in an environment like Tahoe.

Westwall... I envy you.

We have a house on the north shore, Incline Village, right on the water. Its beautiful place.
