Sex Education in school

Having graduated 2 last year at the university and my last a senior in high school that sits on the student advisory committee for the county school board, sex education is the topic once again. Parent led groups want their way and a change once again to the class. This used to happen monthly and now it is about every third month. Parental involvement is needed and I support it but yearly or every semester can work but these folks want their version immediately each and every time and WILL NOT accept anything short of their religous beliefs.
