How disgusting of you and your fellow Moonbats to exploit the tragic and entirely preventable death of this young girl...which was caused by the reckless behavior of her father.

The girl was in our ICE detention, where her situation most likely went unnoticed, much like the infant in the OP's article. Trump's rx is to not allow them in at all, do consider many are coming to 'give their kids up' to the USA.

So our choices are, watch them die on our boarders, or allow them into overwhelmed understaffed detention facilities where many may also die

It raises questions about NO procedures or policies here, fool. This girl was brought here from very far away with no water, food, shelter or health care. She either had some disease or was made ill by the trip. The blame lays with those who brought the child over such a horrible trek. Now she died trying to save her, they flew her 90 miles to a hospital, the USA spent a whole bunch of money and now will waste even more with ten "investigations." The only thing this proves is we need to redouble our efforts and stop these people from entering in the first place. Let Mexico foot the bill and the responsibility. Now that the kid's dead, arrest the father/adult that brought her, charge him with child abuse, endangering a minor and 2nd degree murder, arrest him and put him to work to pay off what he's cost us for this and all subsequent confinement until paid off then kick his sorry ass back to Mexico.

It's a real sad thing when a child is ill, she's been dragged from pillar to post for a month, exposed to the elements, and nobody knew how ill she was when her parents arrived at the border. I read an update that said she had two lethal causes, one was liver failure, More here:

Seven-year-old Jakelin Caal Maquin was very ill, but her father did not report any problems to border crossing guards, likely because he may not have realized how ill she was. I'm sorry her family lost a daughter. As I understand it, the Border Patrol tried very hard to get her to a hospital, but she began dying on the way over to the hospital. Prayers up for her family's loss.

Horrific. It sounds like she suffered greatly and I’m sure she was scared out of her wits. I hope this couple doesn’t have any more kids.

They may be almost as sick as their girl, and since they didn't mention a mother, she may be either hospitalized or dead herself? Poor people often do not have school training that at its best would teach people organization and survival skills when traveling. The child's fate may have been determined along the 1400 mile trip that started over a month ago, but again, that is pure speculation like everything else about this sad case of coulda, woulda, shoulda.
