Well, then we need to fold all the services like that into Medicare, and fund it properly. Force big Pharma to bid for contracts. Eliminate the fraud of the insurance companies by eliminating these parasites, period.

Or, we could shop around and see how the other nations have acheived a success that eludes us, and use what is most applicable to our nation. It doesn't matter which, we must have a change for the average American Citizen. And we will have a change.

Japan has far cheaper and better MRI machines than we do. Perhaps you would like to see how they did it?

In the US, we spend the majority of the money on our old people in the last six weeks of their lives. Does that make sense? Would it not be better to spend this money years ealier in preventive care? And why prolong the dying? The only way that will be done for me is if I am unconcious and cannot prevent it. Yes, I am nearly 66, so this is a very real possibility. Given family history, it will probably be 30 years or more before that is the case, but sometimes shit happens.
