Why the butt hurt?

Having 6 win teams in bowl games is a result of crass commercialism and "everyone is a winner" attitude.

Rightwinger is right. No one will remember who won the Hyundai Ass Scratch Bowl in 2014 but they will remember how all these meaningless bowl games watered down the brand.

Watered down what brand? Does it hurt to have 25 games televised on a Saturday in the regular season? Why televise Boston college v. Tulsa? Just televise the teams with a shot at the national title, since they are all that matter.

My problem is that I remember what bowls used to be....The best of one conference against the best of another conference....shows which conference gets bragging rights

Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl....as a college athlete this was the highlight of your playing days. To have played in the Orange Bowl in 1963 you have accomplished something as an athlete

Today it is everyone wins a trophy. To have participated in the Dipshit.com Bowl that nobody heard about two years ago and nobody will remember two years from now is not an accomplishment

In spite of the hype, most bowl games are less meaningful than regular season games. At least the regular season games can lead to a conference championship. Winning the trophy in the Dipshit.com Bowl is not an accomplishment
