Seriously folks, how may independents were...

No dumb shit, normally I simply ignore you, but pointing out the obvious (that you're a dumb shit) was worth a response.
The election of 2000 harmed our nation and the world, far beyond the effect of 9/11.

Interesting, still playing the DNC shill. To bad, thought you were more intellegent than that.

Sorry to disappoint. Sometimes emotion gets in the way.

I shouldn't be surprised, I've seen it time and again on both sides of the fence. Politics and religion seems to have that effect on most, often tossing reason and logic out the door.

The 9/11 hijackers responsible for the 3,000 US civilian deaths all came from Saudi Arabia.

Now this libtard hack is rewriting history!!!!

Ok you got me...

You damn skippy...!!!!

Doesn't matter who invaded who. The simple fact is this. George Bush provided a killing field for all of the wannabe jihadists and he slaughtered them like pigs at an Oscar Meyer hotdog plant. Yes...we paid for it with American blood. Is it tragic? Yes. Was it necessary? Yes. He fulfilled his NATO obligation to Afghanistan and pursued a proven violator of UN sanctions in Iraq who would be seeking WMD if he was still in power.. The Democrat Senate supported Bush and continually funded the Iraq war....even to this very day!!!

Logic didn't come into play at all. Looks like you just got bitchslapped by REALITY!!!!!

So, what specifically did this magical "killing field" gain us? Are ALL of the jihadists dead? No. Were ALL of the jihadists in Iraq? No. Is Iraq a more safe and secure country? No. Are there still jihadists in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the UAE? Yes.

Talk about being bitch slapped by reality. It looks like your moron cost us nearly a trillion dollars, and over 4,300 additional US lives for, well, NOTHING. Good show!:clap2:

I know you hate it when someone calls you out on something that doesn't fit your agenda, but we ARE supposed to be debating here, right?

You do realize GWBush's primary screwups came from acting too much like a Democrat? For every dime we spend on Iraq and Afghanistan we will, by the time this house of cards that is our ever more socialist government collapses, spend 10 to 100 dollars trying to fund no child left behind and the medicare drug program.

You really don't get it do ya.

Shrubbie's predecessor was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, by keeping the stupid trade sanctions imposed on them by his predecessor.

There's plenty of idiotic and failed foreign policy to go around.
Not to be difficult Frankie (yes I recognize the Avatar) but Bush Sr. was actually a pretty shrewd statesman. Clinton and Bush Jr as idiots yes, but...
Bush Sr. carried through on the bloodless victory over the USSR begun by Reagan. The arms race bankrupted the Soviets.
Bush Sr. built a coalition to crush Saddam's army which included numerous Islamic nations.
"His" sanctions had little time to work before he lost to Clinton.
Clinton was a catastrophe. Not only did he fail to remove the bulk of US forces from Saudi Arabia, he repeatedly bombed Islamic civilians on various pretexts that seemingly amounted to nothing more than wanting a diversion in the press from his peccadilloes.
Hostility about 'infidels' so close to Mecca swelled al Quaeda's ranks, perhaps more than outrage over the bombings. But you apparently already realized that, as you were aware Clinton was pathetic at foreign policy.

I have been registered republican for over 25 years. I voted for Reagan and Daddy Bush four times. When the party veered to the extreme right in the early 90's, I no longer supported any republican candidates at the national level.

So an attempt to assasinate a U.S. President is "seemingly nothing"??????"

It's difficult to find accurate statistics. Here are a couple sources:

In 2000, 47 million registered Republicans out of 142 million registered voters = 33.1%

Here's to the beauty of two-party system

In 2008, 169 million registered - 86 million democrat - 55 million republican - 28 million others registered = 33%

WikiAnswers - How many registered voters in the 2008 Presidential election

.
Really? Consider how many on this and other message boards support Bush (2004 and beyond) and later McCain. And how many today characterize themselves as independents. Many more in 2008 supported Paul and I suspect if the election were to occur today more would reject McCain (the Republican) and support Paul.
The Party of Boehenr and McConnell is dying, don't be surprised if Palin changes her registation to some new party further out on the fringe of the right wing.

You want message board statistics? I doubt they'll very accurate. It looks like there were more people registered as democrats since 2000 than independents. That's to be expected since the Republican Party decided to become the LBJ-type Democrat-lite Party. America doesn't need two Democrat Parties, so the Republican Party membership dropped a bit. Of course, once more people realize that Obama isn't any better than Bush and the Democrats in Congress are doing a horrible job, you'll see even more independents. My guess is that the Republican Party will either rediscover its roots or be replaced by a 3rd party.

hopefully both parties will just disappear, OR start turning into parties that care more about the country, than themselves......otherwise....3rd party here we come........

So, between a pussy, a traitor and a moron, you voted for the moron?

That's right....a pussy would have let the deaths of 3000 Americans go unanswered and a traitor to their country...well that says enough right there....at least with a moron you know what to expect....which is a lot more than anyone like you could offer this country.

So, the moron traded 3,000 US civilian deaths for 4,300 US soldiers deaths, countless Iraqi civilian deaths and almost a TRILLION dollars borrowed from Communist China? You call THAT an answer? Are you that fucking stupid? My God, you people never cease to amaze me. The 9/11 hijackers responsible for the 3,000 US civilian deaths all came from Saudi Arabia. Your moron couldn't even invade the right country! Good show!:clap2:

as if Gore or Kerry would have gone after Saudi Arabia......

How does it feel to be bitch slapped by your own stupid logic?

you did not do that great Va....either one of the other guys had the same ability to fuck up the joint just as Bush did....all 3 were and still are incompetent......

I had been registered Democrat for over 25 years. I voted for anyone who wasnt a Republican. When the party veered to the extreme left in the early 90's, I no longer supported any Democrats or Republican candidates at the national level, and many times at the local level.....until they both start supporting whats best for this country......both Parties can go to hell as far as im concerned....
