Sending Technology To China

what exactly is the administration accused of sharing?

Why post if you're not willing to read the OP?

I did read it, now that nobody stated nothing.

1. “A senior House Republican wants to hold the Obama administration accountable for what he says are violations of law limiting the sharing of space technology with China.Rep. Frank R. Wolf, chairman of the House Appropriations subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and related agencies, said in an interview that a law passed in April restricts technology-sharing with China following attempts by Chinese hackers to steal government secrets.

“They can’t just flout the law,” Mr. Wolf, Virginia Republican, said of the administration. “We see what China’s doing.”
What exactly is he trying to state was compromised, specifically? All I see is a generalization.

Nobody stated nothing. Nice...

It's been spelled out once. Here we go again:

The Virginia congressman previously criticized NASA Administrator Charles F. Bolden Jr. for visiting China in a bid to cooperate on joint space projects.

“The U.S. has no business cooperating with the PLA to help develop its space program,” he said in May.

“OSTP has chosen to disregard a strong and unambiguous legislative prohibition on bilateral engagement with China or Chinese-owned companies,” the report said. “OSTP’s behavior demonstrates a lack of respect for the policy and oversight roles of the Congress.”

Mr. Wolf also said Mr. Holdren’s three-week trip to China was an apparent violation of the provision.

Since your interest seems to be piqued, this would be a good time for you to educate yourself on the subject. Happy learning!

I ask what technologies were illegally given from the Obama administration to China and I get your version of a public school marm.

"If you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything"

A catchy little phrase. But the important thing is what you stand for.

but I am not sure that was an appropriate reply to my post? Please elaborate if you can.

Citi, you seem to treat most subjects like rain off a duck's back...I don't.

And the subject that I'm most passionate about is the well-being of the United States.
To trivialize the passing of technological information, a major defense of this great nation, as you do, gets my hackles up.

Perhaps, had you been born elsewhere, you'd understand how important it is to the world to defend and support America, and to recognize and execrate the fifth column...the Holdren's and the Obama's.

What technological info was illegally passed/? Where is this evidence of the violation?

Had the article listed said technologies, along with schematics and blueprints....what makes you think you'd have the ability to judge and, as you seem to imply, decide if they should be handed over???

Wouldn't an adult put two and two together and realize that we are not speaking of the recipe for fudge brownies???

But...
....if you were an adult, you certainly wouldn't have that grade school avitar.

A double negative is a no-no.

hearsay and conjecture are not a very good recipe for brownies. So I have reviewed the material provided and more on my own. It has come to my conclusion that no secrets were shared because no proof was submitted. The Washington Times and World Nut Daily was the only references, which contained no real material to the allegations by Mr. Wolf.

A double negative is a no-no.

used as a European style of negation.

Why do you source material from a paper owned by a Korean Theocrat?

Interesting that the dumbest among us often attack the source rather than find any error in material itself.

You have certainly established your Left-wing creds, and the fact that standing up for America, and for the free-market system in not within your DNA..... and so it was hardly necessary for you to bang the drum about the Washington Times in order to distract from the treasonous behavior of this administration.

Hopefully others will begin to see the betrayal of our great nation by the Obama administration that was erroneously installed in Washington.

In a sad way it is almost laughable that this law breaking will not be trumpeted by the Old Left Media, as the infraction of the Boland Amendment was...

You mapped Holdren to communism and engaged in Hyperbole. I am not incorrect here.

And as far as treason goes..I've established time and time again..it is conservatives and their values that do not uphold the values of the Constitution. Left to the devices of Conservatives the United States might very well look like Iran..or any number of small bannana republics that engage in the persecution of minority groups to further their aims. You've established that in you DNA..as well as an affinity for Plutocracy and Corporatism, both..are poison to the system of Capitalism.

People like Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush led this country to the brink of economic disaster while cobbling the time worn notion of the Unitary Executive. Indeed Reagan committed treason..and quite a number of things that were in breach of his oath to uphold the Constitution..and with the exception of treason..Bush made Reagan look like a boy scout in terms of Constitutional violations.

What we have now is people of your mindset..who are in the minority..committing economic terrorism against the majority in this country. And it's to fulfill your dream of a fascist oligarchical state, where freedom is vanquished and the majority of the country lives to serve a small monied elite.

And in that endeavor..I wish you disaster.

I'm beginning to worry about you, Wolf-boy...

You're starting to appear as a Jakey-clone....trying so very hard to appear relevant...needing so very badly to say something....but, ultimately saying nothing.

Get a grip!
The Left is counting on you!

In Progressives minds, if anyone has a robust space program it should be the ChiComs.

Maybe they will built the Space Shuttle too?

Speaking of which...is it an accident that NASA's efforts have been curtailed and the program largely turned over to Russia?
....exactly what the communist sympathizers have demanded since Reagan worried them with his space program?

Besides his nuclear summit, Obama last April also pledged with Russia to reduce stocks of U.S. weapons-grade plutonium and signed an agreement that will lower the deployed U.S. nuclear arsenals.
Obama's "science czar," John Holdren, long has petitioned for these moves at the magazine whose personnel were used for the benefit of Soviet propaganda in an attempt to disarm America, according to a former top intelligence official from the USSR.

"[Soviet politician and security chief Lavrentiy] Beria said we should think how to use Oppenheimer, Szilard and others around them in the peace campaign against nuclear armament. Disarmament and the inability to impose nuclear blackmail would deprive the United States of its advantage," wrote Sudoplatov.
Sudoplatov said his spymasters knew the lobby efforts of the bulletin editors would be a "crucial factor in establishing the new world order after the war, and we took advantage of this."

Among Obama's concerning remarks:
• "The notion that prestige comes from holding these weapons, or that we can protect ourselves by picking and choosing which nations can have these weapons, is an illusion." – Obama in Moscow in August 2009.
• "No single nation should pick and choose which nations hold nuclear weapons. That is why I strongly reaffirmed America's commitment to seek a world in which no nations hold nuclear weapons." – Obama in his address to the Muslim world from Cairo in June 2009.
Besides his nuclear summit, Obama last April also pledged with Russia to reduce stocks of U.S. weapons-grade plutonium and signed an agreement that will lower the deployed U.S. nuclear arsenals.

It's treasonous that Obama has put the ChiCom and Russian in a position to have a superior space program to us. That's how Reagan beat the USSR and Obama and Progressives are trying to, and in fact, have succeeded in turning the momentum so that it is that Communists who now have or will soon have an edge in space.

Pure Treason

1."You mapped Holdren to communism..."
Is this some mealy-mouthed way of saying he isn't a communist without saying he isn't a communist?

2. "it is conservatives and their values that do not uphold the values of the Constitution."

Orwellian to say the least!
It was conservatives, known at the time as classical liberals, who wrote the Constitution!

a. “The American intellectual class from the mid 19th century onward has disliked liberalism (which originally referred to individualism, private property, and limits on power) precisely because the [classically] liberal society has no overarching goal.” War Is the Health of the State

Aside to Sally: did you notice the last line in (a.) above? That is the way one identifies the source of the information....you'll learn about documentation when you get to high school.

b. Realizing the disrepute with which the American people held 'progressives,' John Dewey came up with the clever idea of changing the name to 'liberals.'

Wilson and the Progressives tried to make war socialism permanent, but the voters didn’t agree. They (Progressives) began to agree more and more with Bismarckian top-down socialism, and looked to Russia and Italy where ‘men of action’ were creating utopias. Also, John Dewey renamed Progressivism as ‘liberalism,’ which had referred to political and economic liberty, along the lines of John Locke and Adam Smith: maximum individual freedom under a minimalist state. Dewey changed the meaning to the Prussian meaning: alleviation of material and educational poverty, and the removal of old ideas and faiths. Classical liberals were more like what we call Conservatives.
John Dewey and the Philosophical Refounding of America by Tiffany Jones Miller - National Review Online

(Hey....did you see the link...starting to get it?)

3. "Left to the devices of Conservatives the United States might very well look like Iran..."
I'll bet you're even laughing at what you wrote, now.....eh?
Certainly my links have schooled you enough to realize that Conservatives seek individualism, private property, and limits on government power...
...pretty different from what you wrote, eh?

Feeling pretty dumb about now, huh?

4. "...Plutocracy and Corporatism..."

Now, another hint so you don't look as incoherent as you usually do....try to stick to words you understand.
Plutocracy? Since there is no permanent class known as the wealthy, this nation could not be a plutocracy....
"According to a study by Prince & Associates, less than 10% of today’s multi-millionaires cited “inheritance” as their source of wealth."
The Decline of Inherited Money - The Wealth Report - WSJ

So, in America, everyone has an opportunity to be rich...except for lazy slugs (If the shoe fits.....)

Corporatism? It refers to the kind of crony capitalism practiced by FDR and Obama, whereby they select the winners and losers.
Since you have read my posts, even you must know that I hardly support either.
So...you are incorrect again. Again.

4. And speaking of wrong, your note about President Reagan...mega-wrong.

Now study hard and do your homework and you may....just may!....have a future in which you approach 'adequate.'
