I can't wait to see what happens in New York City this week....

They've already started with nude protesters...I wonder what else they'll be doing?

I especially loved watching C-SPAN the other day. All those signs that said "Bush Lied", "No War for Oil" etc. Do you think that they recycled those signs from the war protests from last year?

If they were really honest, they would have signs like this

1. I am misinformed
2. Facts? We don't need no stinking facts!
3. I am easily misled by the local branch of the Communist Party
4. I am carrying this sign because there is free beer after the march
5. I am carrying this sign to impress my (boyfriend/girlfriend)
6. I am in this march because all of my friends are doing it
7. I really do believe in what I'm saying, but then I also believe in the Tooth Fairy
8. I'm (stupid/naive/easily misled) and I vote
9. Hey Mom and Dad, send money!
10. I'm still stuck in the '60s
11. My imam told me to do this.
12. Make trouble not war
13. This protester sponsored by your local (Moslem charity/Left Wing Extremist Organization/Environmentalist Whacko Group)
14. Get a job? This is my job! Book me now for the best rate!
15. Imagine World Domination (by the Islamofascists)
16. Sign for rent....Your left wing slogan here.

I've always wondered where people find the time and money to do this?

I too have often wondered how the heck "tens of thousands" manage to find the time and money to attend these protests.

I know one thing I am SICK of all the publicity on these freaks ! I know their were protesters at the DNC so where was the media then ? :death:

I have yet to hear anything else about the RNC exept the protesting ! :banana2:

This may have a positive side to it. I imagine that most Americans do not identify with these space invaders. Hopefully many people will watch these "festivities", associate them with the Democratic party and decide that they want no part of this garbage.

Thats not too difficult to answer. they get the funding from the communist parties in the United States that are fonting as anti war groups. Look who sponsored the Protests last year.

As for where they get the time. well its kinda easy to find the time when you are lazy people who quite possibly get paid to go out there and have probably never held a real job in their lives and are trying to blame the government for their idleness.

Absolutely right on! Keep showing pantless for peace marching for Kerry, and watch Bush's poll numbers go up ;)

Anyone with half a functioning brain won't.

I certainly hope so....but the demostrations before the Iraq war didn't change many people's minds about those fruit loops....

I believe that the typical RNC protester does not represent the grass roots Democrat..... but then, neither does the Democratic Leadership!

I believe that many people might be Democrats if it weren't for the Leftist, Socialist, anti-American, Anti-traditional values, freak fest that the Democratic Party has now become. As far as I'm concerned the Democratic Party represents the radical gays, the radical feminists, the abortion rights crowd, liberal Blacks, Hispanics, peace activisits, anti-law and order types, anti-free market types and snooty liberal Intellectuals who look down at working stiffs like myself.

They have declared (among many other groups --- I'm sure that my fellow posters can fill in the blanks) that White, Catholic, Straight males who have traditional values as their enemy and blame that us for all the problems in society. Well.....since they've declared war on me and others like me, I can say that I don't feel any compunction for calling them my enemy.

Even Ronald Reagan said "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me"....I believe that is true of a lot of people

P.S. Does watching the fruits, nuts and flakes on TV count towards my minimum daily allowance of fiber? :)

Link for the communist connect? not at the moment. i doubt the info would be tough to find but its been almost a year since i saw the stuff so who knows.

It's still early but as wacky as some of the protestors are they really have been sort of neutralized by the coverage. They were expected to be there in large numbers and they were expected to be wacky. The coverage I have seen so far paints them as numerous yet peaceful with only a few arrests. Will this type of coverage force the protestors to up the ante in order to be recognized and distracting as is thier agenda?

hope not!
