Russ Feingold is seething mad. John McCain is giving more of a disappointed shrug.

These senators whose names were associated with the landmark campaign finance bill that was partially overturned by the Supreme Court on Thursday had divergent reactions. Their positions reflect the impact the ruling may have on each of their parties—and House Democrats have already introduced a resolution to amend the Constitution and reverse the decision.

This is the way our system works, it's the responsibility of the judicial branch to interpret the constitution, so Russ Feingold needs to take a Valium and follow the recommendations of his colleges if he doesn't like the decision, specifically this....

As to whether it was a good decision, Personally I'd need to read the majority opinion before I could formulate an opinion on it. Bottom line is that if it was unconstitutional it should have been struck and the SCOTUS did the right thing.
