Senate’s tea-party caucus will have a new member next year

It is a great day. The more division in the GOP, the better it is for the voices of moderation. Hopefully, the GOP will be split in two by 2032.

Really, after Romney loses...what do you think the 2016 candidate will be? Stalin or someone not so moderate?

Politically illiterate....you should be embarrassed....I know you aren't but you don't even know what you don't know.

Ahh another one to re-up and strengthen the Patriot act next time around.

Hmmm, the democrats had the house, senate and WH,,, yet no reversal...hmmmmm

Which Senate Democrats Voted for the Patriot Act? (Final Roll Call, May 26 2011) | Irregular Times

but they did not campain for office based on killilng or reducing the partiot act.
42 Tea Party Cacus members voted to re-up and strengthen the partiot act.

This Cruz has no opposition in November?

That is one of the dumbest things I have seen posted here in awhile.

Who represents the TEA party views, the leaders of the party in Congress? Governor Romney? What member of the party leadership speaks for the TEA party?

Who?

Palin.

Okay enlighten me. Does Romney represent anything the TEA party stands for? He pledges more spending on some programs; has had moderate views in the past on social issues. He's losing in most of the swing states so no person whose looking at it soberly can say he's going to win given the factual evidence. I think it's over now by the way.

But lets fast forward to 2016.

You guys have nominated moderates in 2008 and got killed. Moderates in 2012 and all indications point toward another field dressing by the Democrats in the presidential race. Do you think you'll go moderate again in 2016? If so...why?

Okay...Sarah Palin. Any indication that she is going to run in 2016? She quit the Governorship of Alaska and didn't want a piece of Barack Obama this year. She embarrassed herself royally in 2008, would immediately do so again on the national stage and has made quite a lucrative living off of being the freak show she is now. There is no middle-of-the road support for her candidacy.

First I believe you actually think Stalin is a righty....your words, not mine.

Second you aren't paying attention, Obama isn't winning......he is why you've gotten your asses kicked in the last 3 elections...many of us sat out 2008...that ain't happenin again darlin.....

Obama is winning in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada, and Colorado. Those are facts. Look them up.

Seriously, lets just pretend that Romney loses...who do you nominate in 2016...another moderate? Hmm?

If you could please cite the poll, I'd consider it.

I googled it and I got the following:

The new CBS/NYT/Quinnipiac polls showing President Obama with big leads (and above 50 percent) in Pennsylvania, Florida and Ohio are causing a lot of groans among Republicans and elation among Democrats. In particular, Republicans object to the outsized number of Democrats in the sample. This has been a consistent theme among Republicans this cycle: looking at the party ID numbers and discounting polls that show substantial Democratic advantages.

President Obama leads Mitt Romney among likely voters in Ohio and Florida – and has a double-digit lead in Pennsylvania – according to a Quinnipiac University/CBS News/New York Times poll released this morning.

The poll, conducted from July 24-30, shows Mr. Obama leading his presumptive Republican challenger 53 percent to 42 percent in Pennsylvania. The 11-point lead results largely from independents, who favor the president by 22 points, and women, who favor the president by 24 points.

Mr. Obama holds a six-point lead in Ohio, 50 percent to 44 percent, a state where he holds a campaign event later today. His lead here is also due in large part to women, who back him by a 21-point margin. Romney leads by ten points among Ohio men, and seven points among Ohio whites.

In Florida, Mr. Obama also holds a six point lead, 51 percent to 45 percent. He holds a small lead among both men and women and a 19-point lead among Hispanics, while Romney leads by double-digits among whites and voters age 65 and above

Surely you don't mean those. The latest FL poll I cited has Obama up by only 1 point.

He succeeded in trying to outlaw any opposition. Republicans (i.e. conservatives) are famous for that. He favored violence over reason. From the healthcare debate, we see where the right seeks that as well. A poster here has pointed out that if Obama wins, there will be civil war. He was a conservative.

Now please cite the poll and tell us theorhetically whom you would feel would get the nomination in 2016 should Governor Romney not win. I know you won't do it but, hell, I can ask.

I am speechless, you really are politically ignorant.
First Marxism leads to Socialism which leads to Communism....all Leftist ideologies, are you 12?

Cite what poll?
Only ideologues quote anything from CBS as being legitimate.....I suggest you go to Realpolitics.com and check their polling data.....how about I quote Rasmussen because they haave Romney up almost everywhere?

Second theoretical???
What do i or you know about 2016?

Don't even get into HC, I'll beat you about the head and sholders with that....everything you type is 180 degrees out of phase with reality.

The use of violence seems to be something the GOP favors here regardless of how you happen to classify ideologies.

Actually they don't.

Rasmussen 7/25 has Obama up by 3 in Wisconsin.
Rasmussen 7/23 has Obama up by 6 in Michigan.
Rasmussen had Obama up in Pennsylvania.
I'm citing electoral vote.com. ElectoralVote

I went to the Rasmussen website and quote the following:

Electoral College
Obama: 247 - Romney: 191 - Toss-up: 100

Election 2012 - Rasmussen Reports™

Your contention that Governor Romney is winning "everywhere" is basically a lie.

You brought up CBS, not me.

You don't know much about 2012 either. But do you think that another moderate will get the 2016 nomination if Romney loses? Just a question.

LOL..Rassy has Romney up by one Nationally.....Realclear has Bammy up 1.4....as I posted.

You don't live in reality sweetie.....you have lost every election since Bammy won....and all you can say is "nuh-uh".

I don't live in 2016.....but Bammy is done...he has the worst negatives ever for an incumbent.

I suggest you actually reseach Stalin before you attempt to make him a rightwing figure.....that is ignorant.

Unfortunately, we have the Electoral College and nationwide polls are meaningless.

The conservative movement which favors violence over reason is more in line with Stalin's deeds. Sorry.

I knew you'd back out of playing "what if". The polls disagree with you--the ones you cite disagree with you too--which is really quite strange.

Would you be willing to bet sig lines on the outcome of the election?

(smile) We don't support violence at all....that is a dodge the left uses in an attempt tomarginalize whomever they disagree with :)

You aren't understanding what you are reading....I am the one who has refuses to play "what if"....it is a silly game :)

You are claiming its over...I have shown you the polls don't support that....I also have the last 3 elections to support my contentions ;)

Bammy is up overall 2 pts. max....within any margin of error....sorry.....on the surface its a toss up....but on main street where business is done he lsot it when he claimed we "didn't build that".....by the way that is a "collective" idea....golly where does that come from????????

Sure I'll take the bet.

No, I understand fine. You profess confidence but when asked to put a little skin the game, you run away from the challenge. Don't be too ashamed (if thats possible), most conservatives have.

You showed me a nationwide poll that is meaningless since we have the electoral college.
