Senate repeals Obama care

Pick a type of cancer and guess how much a course of treatment costs.

So you want government to pay for it so the money appears out of thin air, do you?

Link to any post where I said that, respond to the challenge, or just keep repeating yourself like Crazy Eddie.

Um...read your post and my reply to that post, Holmes. What is the matter with you? You keep saying government should pay for it, I keep asking you where that money comes from. What about the obvious is beyond your grasp?

You keep saying government should pay for it...

Link?

Every time I say that it's in response to your saying that. Seriously, what is wrong with you? Are you playing the leftist word game that when government forces insurance companies to pay for it that isn't government? Bull. Government taking money from one person and giving it to another and government forcing one person to give money to another is a distinction without a difference.

I.e., the definition of insanity. You can't provide a link to something I never posted, so you keep repeating yourself. If you'd like to get back on topic, let me know.

I kept responding it to you saying that, dumb ass. A government mandate is a tax

:blahblah:

Why are you afraid to talk about the costs of cancer? Is it because you don't know, you don't want to know, you've never known anyone with cancer, or you're just here to parrot every other RWer's talking points?

The senate is kind of like a dog, chasing a car. If the dog ever caught it, it would not known what to do with it. If the Senate ever actually had a chance of success in repealing ACA, they would all lose their jobs overnight. So, they repeal ACA, knowing full well that it is only pandering to their base, and that Obama will veto it. If there was actually the slightest chance that the repeal would be real, they would all disappear from D.C., for unknown destinations, without voting at all.

And I'm a "right winger," wow, the wit on you people. How long did it take for you to come up with that one?

Not afraid to answer a self-evident question, but since you're fixated on a particular answer and you'll dismiss the self-evident anyway, this is for the adults:

The money comes from the insurance company, when the patient has insurance.

In the past, many people couldn't afford insurance.

Even people who had insurance could find out their insurer refused to cover their treatment, or put a lifetime cap on payment for that treatment.

Since passage of the PPACA, more people have insurance now.

And since passage of the PPACA, insurers are not allowed to refuse coverage for preexisting conditions, or put lifetime caps on reimbursement.

Where does the insurance company's money come from? Here: Pareto's Principle: How This "80/20 Rule" Can Help You

To point out the butt obvious, which you whiffed on, the insurance company assumes risk across a pool. When someone has a pre-existing condition, that isn't risk, it's certainty, and those costs are spread across it's pool of insured. It's a tax, dumb ass. You're a socialist, stop pretending you ever weren't.

Correct.

there is never a wrong time to stand for free markets.

so true, American Republicans are the last best hope for freedom on earth. Once they are gone the world will revert back to what it was before our Founders created freedom. It will be a world that you don't want to live in. Liberals like ISIS Hitler Stalin Mao Pol Pot will rule the world always at war for control of govt.
