This is nothing more than business as usual in politics. When this budget was going through the House last year, Bush told them he would Veto this bill. They just held it over for Obama to sign. He didn't have any problem doing that....hell, it's "chump change" in his economy. He could have taken the high road with this bill and do a line by line veto to all the pork that's in it but he didn't. The republican were just as bad with the pork in this budget, and really could have gained some ground if they weren't so damn greedy. I knew this was going to be a bumpy road, but I never thought it would have such deep pot holes. I'm going to need some new shock absorbers before the 2010 election.

Which previous congress? The congress that voted for it today? The democrat controlled congress of the last 2 years?
It amazes me how Mr Obama thinks he can just tell any lie he wants to, and the press just lets him get away with it.

I'm still trying to figure out what the price tag was for Obama to buy my senator. I think Alexander whored himself out in exchange for a water treatment plant, but I'm not sure. I certainly HOPE he got something better than that. You know, if you're gonna hook.. you should at least make sure to be well paid.
