Senate Health-Care bill would leave millions of uninsured.

And this is the scary part. The entire Idea was to cover (are we ready for this?) 42 million uninsured. And at one point Obama said 30 million unisured (I think he decided not to count the illegals that day). But look at what the link says.

"It would extend insurance to 31 million of an estimated 54 million who would have no coverage without the legislation."

How did we get from 30 million, or 42 million all the way to 54 million?

These jokers don't even know how many people they aren't going to help. (well they do actually, it's somewhere around 300 million)

:( That's totally messed up!!!! and who is going to help the uninsured?

And it will not reduce the costs of health care insurance it will raise them. That's why this whole deal is not about health care reform it's about government intrusion between you and your doctor and getting more and more of your tax dollar. That's it and that is also why only a few people are in on this deal with kick backs and corruption running rampant and also why this is not being broadcast on C-Span as Obama promised several times during his campaign.

They're looking to tax the caddie plans and whack the young folks for a lot of this and with the mandate that says you have to buy insurance or get taxed BUT you can't be denied coverage, even if you're enroute to the hospital you can still sign up so hey, what would you do? Pay $3K+ for insurance or the $950 tax and just wait until you really need it to buy it? Government is the most fucked-up, illogical beast imaginable.

Well, it would be far more reasonable to just totally copy the Canadians. I would go for that. Or totally copy either the Japanese, or Taiwanese. How about the Swiss? All of these programs work far better than our present system.

But there is not a chance of that with the kind of money that the Health Care industry is throwing around.
