Correct, and no law or regulation you burden law abiding citizens with will change that. "People who would like to kill", whether it's a clerk at a store they intend to rob or kids in school, aren't bothered by your laws. All we have is the good people to stand against evil. A few reasons:

It makes them feel like they are "doing something" without actually addressing the real issue: Criminal use of firearms.

They mistrust thier own fellow citizens, but for some reason an all powerful federal government is something they trust implicitly.

They are scared of things that go "bang!"

They dont like guns, therefore, everyone else shouldnt like them either.

I went to a gun show a few weeks ago and they were doing background checks on the spot to sell the guns. The local police were there checking people coming out with the guns making sure they had the proper paperwork in place before they left with their gun.

Of course, liberal scum here that have never touched a gun talk about people buying and selling guns without background checks at gun shows they themselves have never attended.

It is just another example of lazy fuck liberals trying to look smart about a subject they are clueless about from their mother's trailer bedroom.

There is no right to a car in the consitution. there is a right to travel, but the method is not defined.

Also roads are only designed for certain speeds, so while the speed limit may be much lower than the desgin limit, 120 MPH is usually well above the design limit.

And finally there is no pre-emtive limit to speeding. There are no governors on cars. You only get in trouble when you get caught breaking the law.
