I just think people don't always want to be honest about their behavior. If we want to move on as a species we have to be honest about ourselves and our nature. For those opposed to privacy rights in this matter, and to be consistent, there may be no exceptions: a woman must have her rapist’s child, she must have the child of her father or brother or other male relative, and if the pregnancy threatens her life she must die accordingly.

Rather than whining about ‘evil’ abortion, citing irrelevant bible scripture, or playing tedious ‘gotcha’ games, the right and others opposed to abortion should rather put forward a plausible plan to make the practice unnecessary, rendering the right to privacy issue moot.

No, it is a human being at that particular stage of development; they are a human being at all particular stages of development. It isn't a potential person, it is a person. Conception/fertilization is the very very beginning of that unique, individual person. The stage of development doesn't determine whether they are a human being or not.

Santorum say any doctor that performs an abortion should be charged with murder. Murder of what? A clump of cells? What is murder? Will the woman be charged with accomplish to murder?

GOD has spoken on the issue and it is an issue between the woman, the doctor and their GOD. Government need to stay out of it.

I would like to know where Sen. Santorum stand on protection a life after birth. How he feel about war and killing of innocent people who we consider “causalities or war” and “collateral damage.”

Planned Parenthood save lives and that is the reason we need it. Ending legal abortions and funding for Planned Parenthood will not stop abortions and save lives. Charging doctors with murder will not stop abortions either.

GOD gets to define when life begins and ends. Not Santorum or our government. It is not my right to even cast a vote on the issue.

All true. The debate is at what point the baby’s right to life supersedes the mother’s right to control her body. At conception is not viable and has failed in practice. Giving the rights to the mother up until birth on the other hand is monstrous and almost universally illegal. I guess that you would place that time at conception. I must disagree with that premise as does the vast majority of the nation. Fact is, abortion is unlikely to change because that is what the people want. Abortion laws at the moment are not that bad. I would like to see zero abortions but I know that is impossible.
