Work needs to be done. Looks like Hatch (R) won't be able to go pander to the T Partiers over the break (They want him out) in his state. :(

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced that the chamber will cancel its July 4th recess next week, a decision aimed at pressuring negotiators to reach a deal on the looming debt limit.

He is the one who should be in detention. He is supposed to vote on a budget. We are going to be skipping our second year on this.

If he wants to grandstand, he will have to face the fact that Republicans can grandstand just as much, and they can spend a bunch of time asking where those two budgets are

You really are stupid, aren't you?

The Republicans in the Senate have been calling for the Senate not to go into recess for anything until they pass a budget. Reid didn't put the Republicans in detention, they forced him to stay in DC and actually work instead of taking a vacation.

Nice try at spinning an inconvenient truth though.

Why don't you try blaming the corporate jet deduction, which was signed into law by Obama as part of the stimulus plan, on republicans? You need to cover all the talking points in Obama's speech in order to get your "I Worship Obama" pin.

Hatch won't be able to "go pander to to T Partiers"? Who does Reid pander to, communists?

"But with top Democrats refusing to consider cuts to entitlement benefits and Republican leaders ruling out tax increases, talks have stalled and the finger-pointing has grown intense, culminating Wednesday with Mr. Obama bristling at congressional members’ calls for him to get more involved." ... from link above

So the Republicans are getting blamed for this? Oh, yeah, noncooperation always comes from the right, just shoot us, right? What about the noncooperation on the left?
