Sen. Kennedy (D-Mass) asks Rumsfeld to resign as Sec. of Defense.

"In baseball, it's three strikes, you're out. What is it for the secretary of defense?" Kennedy asked Rumsfeld. "Isn't it time for you to resign?"

Rumsfeld response was "That's quite a statement," Rumsfeld said. He added that Bush had rejected his resignation offers and "that's his call".

Rumsfeld response should have been "Well Senator you're openly guilty of rampant skirt chasing, alcoholism, and vehicular homicide (Mary Jo Kopechne,Chappaquiddick Island) shouldn't you have resigned decades ago?
 
The vehicular homicide one should have kept him out of office for a long time. Yet oddly he has run unopposed in massachusetts.

For the people in Massachusetts, a Kennedy can do no wrong. They are in awe of money, glamor and power. They think anyone in that position can represent them best. If anything else was more important to them, Teddy would have been returned to Massachusetts long ago.

Teddy boy should really take stock in his personal background history before he attacks others...can't stand the man............ :puke3:
