KASHA and or boiled grains are good . Once again , boiled and then Gravy Rosie .

boiled----and mixed with egg noodles----salt and spices
as a matter of taste---------watdahell is "gravy" Long ago
I did a bus trip to Kansas-------there was a stop on the way
offering something called "toast and gravy" I met a New York
girl on the bus------and we both laughed over "toast and
gravy"--------like what sort of juices seep out of toasted bread?
toast au jus It's a cultural thing

give me Gravy !!!! Gravy is meat , onion , garlic , salt , pepper mixed with thickener like flour or Corn Starch and water or milk can be used i guess . Biscuits and Gravy is usually sausage or pork gravy with bits of meat ladled over biscuits and is very good especially if you also have lots of natural , American style , sage breakfast pork sausage links . Gravy and toast , maybe just an open face meat sandwich with Gravy . Sounds ok to me but i'd want both slices of toast . 'au jus' sounds 'french' and its thin and watery . 'au jus' , might make good soup with some onions , carrots , patatas' , noodles and meat Rosie .
