I'm surprised that Nader was higher than Kucinich. I didn't think that I had much in common with Nader.... Gonna have to check him out a little more to find out what he is all about I suppose. It doesn't surprise however how low Bush is on both of my lists.

I am surprised that Bush changed one percent when you included the other candidates. did you change an answer in between? I would have thought that the %ages stayed the same but just added new people. It kinda makes me wonder if it is screwing up elsewhere too!

I gave up half way through. Too many questions that I couldn't find satisfactory responses for. And I figured it was silly to leave definitive and important issues without an opinion.

So basically you did it, it came up Bush and you got scared. lol:p:

I don't knowl. The only thing I changed was whether or not you wanted to include a 3rd party.

Maybe there are other people who I disagree with more than Bush so that upped the percentage a bit when I chose to include the 3rd party.

yeah maybe. I just assumed it worked by comparing your answers with each candidates answers (or the websites best guess at their answers) and gave you a percent correlation between those two. It then does this with all the candidates that you chose through the filters it has on the last page. and then displays the results. I did not think that chosing more or less candidates would effect the results. But i guess they do it differently.

Maybe they entered in the answers Kerry and the Dems gave to give the illusion of being more moderate than liberal. I can't understand how Kerry has scored so high on Many Republican Members polls and yet Bush has only been receiving 11% and 12% on Liberal members polls. Like how the hell did Kerry come down before Lieberman. I agree with lieberman way more than Kerry. Maybe it was because voted for and against everything, lol.

I just realized, the reason this is happening is on economic issues mostly.

Kerry and lieberman are both DLC democrats. Which means they have gone the way of The republicans(and Clinton) and accept corporate money to get them into office, and pay them back when they get there by changing their views, to corporate views. Clinton is famous for pushing for free trade, this is why real democrats think Clinton betrayed them.

Kerry, the most liberal Democrat in the Senate for years running, is a DLC Democrat???

BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!!

Thats your misconception right there! You think Kerry is liberal!! :clap1: His policies are consistant with moderate conservatism, not the modern conservatism thats equal to corporatism.

Thats what hes trying to run as. Go look at his voting record. It will tell you otherwise. You don't get elected to multiple terms as senator in Mass for being conservative.

Ok. here is my question. why does it seem John Kerry is closer to President Bush then Joe Lieberman?

seriously i hope no one is placing much stock in this.

Obviously you need to educate yourself on what Conservatives believe.

Conservatives believe in a strong military. John Kerry has voted against every defense initiative.

Conservatives believe in low taxes for everyone. John Kerry has voted to increase taxes dozens of times and i think im being generous with that figure.

Conservatives believe in protecting life. John Kerry continually supports infanticide. (Or abortion if youd rather use the PC term)

Conservatives that marriage is a sacred institution and should be protected. John kerry thinks marriage is a way to become a millionare and should be allowed to almost anyone.

These are just four major differences. if you think thats all you need to learn more about conservatives and liberals.

Your statements all depend on the idea that conservatives at their core actually wan't good to come of this.

Conservatives believe in strong military - so defense companies like Bush's Carlyle group will make a lot of money. And our budget is shifted from domestic to foriegn affairs, causing our commons to get less funding.

Conservatives believe in low taxes for everyone. - haha , so you give the country wealthy elite a tax differal so our children will pay for it in the future? Cons only want to lower taxes for themselves.

Conservatives believe in protecting life. - by killing thousands in name of peace? Ok, you got me there. Abortion shouldnt even be an issue, yall need to get off the wedge issues.(look at my sig)

Conservatives that marriage is a sacred institution and should be protected. - everyone does, well mostly. The problem is, by not allowing some people to get married. You most effectivelly make second class citizens who get less freedom.

Being a conservative. Im fairly confident i know what Im talking about and why i believe what i do. Its utter arrogance to try to say other wise.

And how you think Abortion cannot be an issue. It shouldnt be an issue. It shouldnt exist. There are few things in the world that evil. But to say we shouldnt be an issue but rather we should ignore such evil is repulsive.

Give me a break.

Strong defense is all about making money. Read a history book. Whenever there is a strong military buildup in this country, the economy flourishes. The reason is this: being a soldier is a paying job. It may not pay that much in $, but that's not reason you join service anyway. That soldier, who has job, has to fed clothed, housed, armed, and trained. That means that more people have jobs making uniforms, boots, housing complexes, armaments, and soldiers get to advance and become drill seargents (or drill instructers for the leathernecks). Thats means alot of money will change hands, and I learned in 1st grade math class that that is a good thing. When are liberals gonna wake up and realize that a huge military is n't good for the economy, it's frickin' wonderful. 1917- huge build up, great economy through the 20's

1941- huge build up, great economy through the 50's

1981- massive build up, great economy all the way through the 90's

Conservatives want to cut taxes across the board, which doesn't really matter, because poverty level gets all of their tax money back in the form of a refund. But let's talk stright here. If the rich have more money because of a tax cut, guess what? They are most likely gonna spend it. (This merely a rough example) Joe Somebody in Queens, making minimum wage is probably gonna spend his money on neccesities like food and bills. He can take his money and spend 88 cents on a can of corn. This can of corn took 18 people to make and get to the shelf. Bob the CEO just got a tax cut and decides to spend it on a brand new Gulfstream 5 that took 108 peple to build. Now Joe Somebody can get a job building a jet and buy more cans of corn, possibly a new chevy to drive around Queens. See how the rich having more money can help?

Killing thousands in the name of peace? I sure am glad no one protested our war of independence. If they had, I would probably know all the words to "Hail to the King."

Federal Marriage Protection Act- defines Marriage as a union between a man and a woman - signed into law by none other that Bill "A blowjob isn't sex" Clinton. If this was such an important issue, then why did the gay community wait until there was compassionate conservative in the White House?

And for the record, your quoting a Republican President speaking of what is wrong with the Democratic Party. Kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it?
