I'm surprised S&S printed this as it's a quasi-government organ. Also noticed there's nothing for Nevada.

Newly released reports from the probes reveal supervisors instructed schedulers to falsify wait times at VA medical facilities in at least seven states, and employees at 40 medical facilities in 19 states and Puerto Rico regularly “zeroed out” veteran wait times, which masked growing demand as new waves of veterans returned from wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and as aging Vietnam veterans needed more care.

Too bad there isn't a map. I'd bet the Red [we don't need no stinking federal help, but we'll take their money anyway] states show up worse than the Blue states.

Forty facilities out of hundreds in nineteen states and PR had unacceptable practices.

This is not good, but could have been far worse.
