What is it?

It is a virtual world. You can own land there, or rent. Have a house and pets. Build stuff. Play games. Dance. Have sex. Gussy up your avatar and change clothes. Make money. Whatever...it's your Second Life.

It's free, but you can also pay money to have an account with more privileges.

It's really cool. I'll try to post a picture of my avatar here.

I have to insert the URL of my image? My image doesn't have a URL, it's just a file on my computer!! ???

Any fans of Second Life here?

I have been a member of Second Life since 2006. I quickly became successful in business there earning well over 1 million linden dollars in less than two years.

Second life is truly remarkable technology. It touts a membership of over 10 million residents, and is the largest user built virtual world of them all.

I have 3 avatars in Second Life, each with it's own reality and life totally independent for one another.

I have owned topless clubs, comedy clubs, malls, stores, freebie places etc...
I have gained so much business knowledge that it has gone a long way in real life with matters of business.

Thanks for starting this thread. USMB could not be complete without a thread for second lifers.
