Second Amendment Hypocrites: Senators Schumer and Feinstein Pack Heat

outspoken opponents of gun ownership, such as Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Diane Feinstein (D-CA), who are carrying concealed weapons,

The mainstream news media have been aware that several antigun proponents are carrying concealed firearms but have failed to expose this hypocrisy. This writer's efforts to discover how many other anti-gunners are also packing heat - a right they wish to deny other citizens - met with limited results.

Not only does Schumer carry a handgun, the New York City Police Department also provides armed escorts for the good senator. In fact, the Government Accounting Office -- the investigative arm of the US Congress -- slammed Schumer's use of police resources for personal protection. It's clear that Schumer believes he's special. He wishes to ban private citizens' ownership of firearms, while he enjoys layers of protection.

"No wonder Chuckie Schumer shoots his mouth off so much - he's able to protect himself," says a 25-year police veteran.

Also, a check of Pistol License records shows that Senator Schumer possesses an "unrestricted" pistol permit, a rarity in New York City. Licenses are distributed in different categories in the Big Apple: Target Permits allow only use of a firearm at a licensed firing range; Premises Permits allow weapons to be kept in a home or apartment; Restricted Permits allow the gunowner to carry their firearms concealed but only within the purview of their job (security, jewelers, armored car guards, etc.). So it's evident that Senator Schumer has two sets of rules -- one for Americans and one for himself.

And then we have Senator Diane Feinstein on the Left Coast who possesses something more rare than a conservative Republican in San Francisco - an unrestricted concealed weapons permit. Apparently without shame, she participated in a citywide gun turn-in program that was intended to create some kind of statue from the donated guns that were to be melted down. One of her police body guards let it slip that she contributed a cheap model for the meltdown, while retaining her .357 magnum revolver for her own personal self-defense.

Hypocrisy is not limited to politicians when it comes to the Second Amendment. For Example, well-known Washington-based columnist, Carl Rowan, often wrote about the ills of firearms ownership. Until, that is, he shot and wounded a teenager who trespassed on his property. The white teenaged boy claimed he wanted to try Rowan's swimming pool. Rowan, an African-American, retaliated with deadly force using a firearm. That's when the news came out that Carl Rowan, gun-control advocate, actually possessed a license to own firearms

I don't see where in your post that they advocate banning handguns

These M'F'ers know the truth, they're not stupid. At least not every one of the neurons in their logic circuits were wiped out from all the anal fornicating they've engaged in.
First of all, it took the police twenty minutes to respond from a little bit more than a three or four minute highway ride away. During that time Mr Lanza was able to dispatch his fellow human beings at the rate of 1.3 humans a minute. That would have been a goodly rate even for the Einsatzgruppen when they were operating in places like Babiyar.
The Clackamas County Mall shooter was interrupted by an off duty, but still armed Security Guard, so the death toll of innocents was kept down to two. The interruption by another armed and prepared individual was the reason the media, whose puppet strings are currently pulled by the White House Office of Information and David Brock's mediamatters website, dropped the story like a hot potato. If it doesn't fit Barack Obama's favored narrative it doesn't play in the US media, period.
In view of that rather lengthy twenty minute police response time to a dire life and death situation, it might not be a bad idea for our Democratic Pandering Legislators, or even from Barack Obama's mouth himself for he likes to be seen as a kindly Santa Claus figure, in our nations government to supply each and every citizen with a prescription of a few Alprazalalazam tablets, ten 2 mg tabs at the most, to take while waiting for the police to arrive if they find themselves in similar life and death situations. Y'all remember one of the opening scenes of the movie "Independence Day" when the network TV producer, shortly after realizing the craft hovering ominously overhead was preparing to deliver a death dealing nuclear knockout blow, began desperately calling his shrink to help talk him through his imminent death. With 20 mgs of alprazalalazam on board at least the next shooters victims will be calm while waiting for the police to arrive or be killed, whichever happens first. None of that nasty, noisy hysterical screaming and carrying on, ya hear! It disturbs the shooter's aim.

Rosie "Only the police should have guns" O'Donnell has armed body guards.:eusa_angel:

Here are some more left-wing "anti-gun" hypocrites!!!

Let's start off with none other than one of the biggest names in the anti-gun movement, SARAH BRADY. In 2000, Sarah Brady did a straw purchase of a Remington 30-06 with a scope for her son, James Jr. for a Christmas present. Sarah Brady ignored Delaware law by not having her son go through a background check. So, not only a hypocrite Sarah is, but like all left-wing elitists, she thinks she is above the law. And, that is not all, Sarah's husband, James own a select-fire .223 Steyr Aug. The hypocicy!!!

How about Carl Rowan, the Washington Post columnist who campaigned to ban guns in Washington D.C. and helped to get laws passed to ban them in D.C. Well, this hypocrite shot a teenager who broke into his house. Oh the hypocricy.

How about Democrat Donne Trotter who is very anti-gun? Trotter ran for Democrat Jesse Jackson Jr.'s vacated congressional seat. Guess what happened to Trotter, he got arrested at O'Hare airport for trying to bring a handgun on board a plane. Oh the hypocricy.

Don Parada, California Democrat who is fiercly anti-gun and a chronic alcoholic as well, has a concealed carry permit. It was one time revoked, but he was able to pay off the right people to get his carry permit back.

Yep, that is the leftist for you...gun control and bans are for you, not them. You see, they are special and above the law. Laws are for us, not them.

I remember Rosie O'Donnell was clamering for gun control and that we shouldn't have them, but her body guard was packing heat. Hypocrisy
