Secession from Obama’s America

If you're afraid of the negative effects of any deficit stimulus spending wait until the bill starts showing up.

To this point any money put out could only have:
lowered the value of the dollar
created jobs
kept jobs in place
created a bigger bureaucracy

The blue states pay more taxes to the federal government than they get back.

The red states take more revenue from the federal government than they pay in.

So if the red states leave, it helps the blue states.
Then no one can object if the "red" states leave.
Except they would.
Particularly when they realize that without a federal burden on them, those "red states" would experience economic booms, industries would flee the US for the independent "red states" and their lower tax rates, and the US would go belly up that much faster.

No federal burden for a new Confederacy? How do you plan on funding your massive military? How do you plan on continuing to defend Europe, Asia, fight wars in the Middle East?

I don't think that New confederacy would be as interventionist - as meddlesome - as the present US.

See, you haven't even seceded and already you're setting up for a battle between the neo conservative imperialists and the paleo conservative isolationists.

Looks like for conservatives the biggest problem with the Pledge of Allegiance is not taking out 'under God',

it's leaving in 'indivisible'.
