Seattle girl beating

An example of how well privatized security forces do.

I was hangin out at the local country store yesterday evening, and this was on CNN on the TV and they must have shown that film 20 times and went on about this for close to 1 hour.

What were these men guarding, then? Their jobs?

that about sums it up.. don't call them security guards, that's false advertisement. call them "observation and report useless pieces of shit."

There are two reasons to have security in a setting like that. It protect property of the facility and to make a safe environment for patrons. Major fail on point two.

They didn't even need to call for back up. There were three guards right there. Their only real defense is they couldn't see it happening under their feet. Most security guards can't see past their belly in the downward view.

Those "guards" deserve to get fired and have the shit beat out of their cowardly selfish asses. Their contract does not supersede common sense. What the fuck is the City paying them for? To make a damn phone call? Only in America.

Any able bodied man would had been legally protected in physically protecting the girl. No contract these security guards sign should ever void that legal protection.

But, this is what our country has become- a nation of cowards. People too afraid to act because our laws protect thugs and criminals more than the good samaritans.

I have never been arrested. Nor even gotten a speeding ticket.

too boring, I think I will become a suicide bomber....

First, if the rule is "observe and report" then they should not have live uniformed "security" guards posted. This gives the impression that they are able to protect something. In the case of this 15 year old, it was a mistaken impression that nearly cost her life. It's plain the security guards would have calmly stood by and watched her murdered before their eyes and not even stopped the monsters as they slowly sauntered away.

Now it's plain to the entire world that the sham that was being put forward as security, was just a "show" like a cardboard facade of an authority figure. They should now remove all these "guards" now that their impotence has been made obvious, before they become targets themselves. They can "observe and report" that.

This is what spurs vigilantism. When the government shows that even in extremely obvious situations it is not interested in protecting the population, then the population must do it themselves. The blood will be on the Seattle government's hands. They let these contracts and they run them. They are at fault.

I saw three guards and four kids who can blame their parents for not doing their job. Whatever, it is just more excuse making for bad behavior.

He should have PUSHED that kicker AWAY at least !

" Stop! Or I'll say stop again! " :doubt:

No doubt that failure of a security policy to not physically intervene had to do with possible legal repercussions which will now totally backfire and force a change of policy!

SEATTLE (AP) — King County officials say armed, uniformed sheriff's deputies will be posted in the Seattle bus tunnel during operating hours after a 15-year-old girl was beaten there while three security guards took no action.

King County Executive Dow Constantine said Thursday that at least one deputy will be posted at each of five tunnel stations as an interim step during a review of the contract with the company that provides security guards.

The enhanced security measures took effect Thursday night.

shocking and appaling....the people who stood by and did nothing...security guards or not...the worst part....perhaps a strong...stop that and fuck off would have stopped the teenagers....sometimes that is all that is needed that an adult or someone is willing to say no....willing to say stop....too bad the security guards didnt even try that...

The guards are private and only there to protect property not people.

You want socialist guards?

What in the article tells you that they would have stopped someone from committing a property crime?

The fact is the article says they were just there to "observe and report" criminal activity. So, if the individuals had decided to dynamite the walls instead of kick in a girl's face, they would have called 911 and reported that the walls had been blown up.
