Search doesn't work

Keep getting a security error message when I try to use the search funtion.

I have problems, too. I wanted to find an article I previously posted so I clicked on “Your Content” under my user name and got an error message.

Additionally, when I replied to a posting, my response appeared in bold print. I don't know how this happened since I copied my reply from Open Office and the print was not highlighted.

Finally, I was informed by USMB that my Gold Supporting Member status would expire this morning, then later told it would expire this evening but I am unable to purchase this upgrade. I am given the opportunity to purchase the Silver Supporting Member upgrade, but not the Gold.

Late last night there was some server updating going on. (I don't mean the usual late night back up). Probably messed something up with that. I am sure they will fix it.

Putting in a call to Admin and checking the hamsters that power the servers..

In the meantime -- bing and google have this joint pretty well indexed and up to date. Just include USMessageBoard as an item.

Well, the good news, I'm no longer getting an error message.

The bad news...I'm now getting "no results found" on all searches.

Yesterday, I wanted to find an article I previously posted so I clicked on “Your Content” under my user name and got an error message. Today, when I clicked on “Your Content” the error message was gone, but so were the articles I had posted. The only thing that showed were my last two posts made moments ago. Pages of prior articles just disappeared. Does anyone know how I can get them back?

If the post(s) in question was rated by one of the other members, you can still find it by going to your personal menu, (the pull down at the top right of the page), and selecting "ratings received". If you rated someone else's post on that thread, you can still find the thread by selecting "ratings given". These seem to be unaffected by whatever happened yesterday.

No ratings given/received? Looks like you are SOL until the mods/admin fix the search function.
