Hi USMB'ers, just got word that long time USMB poster and former moderator, Emilynghiem, has been driven from her house by flood waters. She says she has 3 feet of water in it already and rising. The decision to open the Barker & Addicks reservoirs' spillways probably contributed to that.
So... if you are in the area covered by Harvey, please respond with a quick note as to your status. If you need to get out, perhaps we can all coordinate escape routes that will get you to safety.
If you are not in the area, we appreciate your good thoughts and if you feel the need to help, coordinate with one of the reputable charities that are earmarking donations for Harvey relief.
Just saw a National Guard Blackhawk Helicopter fly overhead, so the TNG is officially involved now.
