Scott Walker Open To Building Wall Along Border With Canada

Walker said building a northern wall is a "legitimate" issue to look at.

WASHINGTON -- Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R), a staunch advocate of beefing up security on the southern border, said Sunday he is open to building a wall on the U.S. border with Canada as well.

The Republican presidential candidate said the idea of building a northern wall was brought up to him during a recent town hall in New Hampshire.

"That is a legitimate issue for us to look at," Walker said Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press."

Republicans typically take a tough approach on securing the southern border, but few have said a wall should also be built along the U.S.-Canada border.

Walker reasoned that it's about much more than building a wall, arguing, "It starts with securing the homeland."

"It wasn't just about building a wall and securing our borders," he said. "It was also about making sure our intelligence community has the ability for counterterrorism and the ability to go after the infrastructure they need to protect us."

What would such a wall cost? Would Canada pay for it? Would Canada even want such a wall? It seems to me that Walker should be much more concerned about America's crumbling infrastructure than building a northern wall that we can't afford.

Ha.Ha.--they're all jumping on the Trump band-wagon. Little do they realize they're all committing political suicide.

I was just watching the MTV music video awards and the host, Miley Cyrus said she was voting Trump. A few minutes later, a rapper came out and in the middle of his "song" he said he was taking a Trump Dump.

Is that to keep americans from heading north because canadians sure aren't breaking through the forests to come here.
How would you know? Actually our Northern border is way more porous than our Southern one.

I've done recon up along the northern border. And no, there aren't hoards of canadians crossing over. Yes, there are mountainous areas where anyone could come through but they're not. I disagree with building walls. That's a bandaid fix to a bleeding aorta. It doesn't work. The root cause must be dug out.

You know when a presidential candidate who owes Sears $50,000 and is worth a -$72,500 I wouldn't be too quick to jump into debt with him. The size of the Canadian border dwarfs the one with Mexico at 5,500 miles and would put us into bankruptcy court about the same time as Scott Walker gets there

White people come across the canadian border. Good luck on whipping up the Xenophobia on that one.

Walker wants to hold a wall along the. Canadian border and Trump wants to build a wall along the southern border. They have the same mentality as the old USSR's approach to Eastern Europe, who also loved walls too. How cool is that?

Except these walls are to keep people out, not in. Huge difference.

Scott walker must have gotten her marching orders from the coke boys. Walker, bush, et al, were performing for the coke psychopaths in Dana Point a few weeks ago. Auditioning, kissing the ring, performing little dances for their majesties. This is who really rules the worshippers of all things republican.

Hitting the paint fumes a bit early eh?
