Scott Walker deserves a medal

The budget is balanced. Thats good. Lets move on. But giving tax breaks to corporations hasnt created a good number of jobs paying over $20 per hour. Where are those jobs? Cheap corporate crooks is more like it. I hope not one moves into my state.

There are other areas to cut also in Wisconsin. I've never seen the need for so much snow plowing. After a big snow like 8 inches yes but when we get 2 inches on the road the people are whining. No what? Close down your business for awhile until the snow is gone. Babies.

... for solving Wisconsin's structural deficit problem, and for fending off the slings and arrows of people who want us to go back to where we were before he took office.

Kudos to Governor Walker!

You and I agree on Mitt but not on this pustule, which will be popped in a recall election later this year that will send him home.

Is there a recall effort underway to recall New York's governor?

How about Washington state's governor?

Didn't think so.

The Walker issue betrays the sheer hypocrisy of the left.

Washington State governor isn't running again. What would be the point? She is done in a year which is about the time it would take to recall her.

Hey, the man tried. If the People of Wisconsin want to turn their State back over to the corrupt Democrat Dummies, than so be it i guess. They'll get what they deserve. I truly respect Scott Walker. I wish him well.
Not gonna happen.

Getting a pile of fraudulent signatures on petitions is vastly different from having to come up with a candidate to oppose Walker....One that will probably be a complete Madtown socialist loco weed.

They only need 540,000 signatures, they submitted around 1 million. ;)
I would put money on them having enough. Lol

You overlooked the part about someone having to run against him...Which isn't going to be easy, now that he has balanced the state budget and held the line on property taxes.

You're only going to get so far with the Madtown moonbats voting for you.

They knew the signatures would be closely scrutinized, you know they are not fraudulent at all. Beyond the signatures, they collected about the same amount to recall him as he collected votes to win his election. Speaks volumes regarding his chances of even being elected dog catcher ever again.

Collecting signatures from a bunch of malcontents outside the liquor store (some from Mickey Mouse and Adolf Hitler Mickey Mouse, Adolf Hitler Allowed On Wis. Recall Petitions - Milwaukee News Story - WISN Milwaukee), is quite different from getting them to show up on election day....What speaks even more volumes is the recalls of state senators that failed to deliver for the crybabies.

Wrong...

There is a ton evidence proving you wrong, and no Im not going to supply links.

Its out there. Its just not being widely reported on MSM, and we all know why :doubt:

Because it isn't true?

Yes it will...And unlike you, I'll be voting in it.

Walker will be the first repub I've voted for since 1994, and he's going to kick the living shit out of whatever AFSCME/NEA bootlicker they can dredge up to run against him.

Come on, Oddball, I though you would be more excited about it.

Kudos to Governor Walker!

Walker "solved" a problem he created. The state was running a surplus until his cronies rammed through a round of tax cuts for special interests, then he starts crowing that the state is out of money.

Bzzzt. Another person who gets their talking points from Rachel Maddow's news source.

Walker took a structural deficit of over $3 billion and turned it into a projected surplus.

Estimate made in September 2010, for the problem which the new governor would face, whoever that new governor turned out to be:

Fact check article from March 2011 debunking an accusation that the deficit Walker faced was only half of what he claimed:

Not according to the state budget office...

In its Jan. 31 memo to legislators on the condition of the state’s budget, the Fiscal Bureau determined that the state will end the year with a balance of $121.4 million.

To the extent that there is an imbalance -- Walker claims there is a $137 million deficit -- it is not because of a drop in revenues or increases in the cost of state employee contracts, benefits or pensions. It is because Walker and his allies pushed through $140 million in new spending for special-interest groups in January.
