Yea, but they'll be reimbursed when they fix the budget. That's bullshit. I think they should only get minimum wage for a couple weeks. See what it is like to live on that arrogant politicians. LOL.

We should do this to all government employees once a year for a month. Use the savings to pay down the debt.

So if you make $120K a year, that would essentially be taking $10K off their salary.

If you make $60K, take $5K off their salary, essentially.

Imagine you add up all the politicians and government employees and what we could do with that money.

If they don't like it, they can go into the private sector with the rest of us.

God knows there are too many government employees.

And stop paying Blackwater. Their employees make $200K a year? Take that money we are paying with tax dollars to a FOR PROFIT Corporation and put it into the military. Imaine how recruiting would go up if we paid the soldiers a decent wage. Then they wouldn't lose their homes when they went off to war.

Last night CNN was reporting that he ATTEMPTED to accomplish this, but was blocked...by legislature? I'm not sure who did the blocking, but I don't think it's going to happen.
