    Now, apparently, mediocrity is too high a hurdle for high school athletes to clear, to stay on the team....Now it seems "pathetic" may well be the criteria to qualify for athletics in Minneapolis gubmint schools.

    Duh......it's been going on for years.

    The coach and principal have a "meeting" with the teacher responsible for assigning the bad grade.
    It is usually done with the promise that the kid will do better next time.
    By the time next time gets here the season is over and no one gives a shat what the kid's grades are.

    our school has other students escort some football players to class since the footballers have a hard time with the room numbering system apparently.
