A Twin Cities-area school bus driver says his rights to free speech and to practice his religion were violated when he was taken off his route for leading students in prayer. Nathaniel was fired from driving Burnsville children four years ago for the same reason. He's also a pastor of a Minneapolis congregation.
 
This "End Times Headlines" piece illustrates why religion and school don't mix. The parents of these kids were not there to oversee their children and this guy used his position to try to recruit them into a religion that might not be their parents' choice.
 
Wow, they act like what he did is the worst thing that anyone could be guilty of. Would they rather him be like that bus driver in Chattanooga who purposely crashed the bus that he was driving?

Rule of thumb...would those defending the bus driver and what he was doing be just as ok with him being a muslim doing the same thing?
Your question takes the opposite tack; would anyone dare protest if a Muslim bus driver did the same? I’m not aware of accusations of christianophobia.
Yes. If a Muslim was forcing kids to pray, he would also be fired.
