School Board Member Outraged over Patriotic T Shirts

Her diatribe is classic leftist propaganda. This is another example of why education needs to be removed from federal government and union control.
Todd Starnes: T-shirts saying 'stand for the flag, kneel for the cross' draw protest at school

This kind of anti-American outrage on the Left serves only to paint the Democratic party as a whole in a very, very lamentable light. Statements such as those made by Governor Cuomo back the entire party into an ideological corner from which there is no escape or retreat. In effect, the consequence of further Democrat mainstreaming of anti-Americanism will force the DNC to have to ask the Right for permission to come out of its radicalized corner, and than means making concessions of atonement (hopefully) in the form of pro-Republican Democrat votes in the House and Senate.

Otherwise, what is the American Left's remaining move should they choose to run with further mainstreamed anti-American rhetoric? Will they become mad enough propose creation of a new flag which better represents the minority struggles they've exploited for decades? What about creation of new Democratic only offshoot of the United States? What can the endgame of running on an anti-American campaign be? The radical Left has already attempted (and failed) to redefine our Constitution and Bill of Rights and to rewrite American history in support of their cultural revolutionary politics. What option remains for them to achieve ideological victory save call for all out active Revolution?

Everything Todd Starnes says is a lie.

You just have to laugh your ass off at posters who for a minute think Georgia is anything but strongly a Christian area. Where's your outrage at the Indian theme for the sports teams?

The democrats support violence if they can't win at the voting booth.

I would stand for the flag and kneel for the Cross any day of the week, but this not a difficult call. The school board member flipped a lid of course, but she is correct.

If the girls got together as students on the cheer team and sold the shirts as students, they probably would have been okay. The problem was they used the school mascot on the shirt, thus making it seem like the school district endorses the message. Christians might say they like that idea, but then think of a mostly Muslim district in Dearborn MI or Minneapolis, MN making shirts with the public school mascot saying they honor Mohammad or some-such. Nope. And I don't really care if the district is mostly Muslim--the district is not supposed to take a stand.

FWIW I don't think it's the racial stuff about the flag that they have to get into. Saying they "kneel for the Cross" with the school mascot was enough to have the shirts canceled. The rest is extraneous, so it's an easy call.
